एकेटीयू छात्रों ने मूल्यांकन को लेकर खोला मोर्चा

कापियों की दोबारा जांच के लिए छात्रों से जमा कराए गये थे पांच हजार रुपये

लखनऊ। डॉ.एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम प्रावधिक विश्वविद्यालय की कैरीओवर परीक्षा में फेल छात्रों ने एक बार फिर विवि प्रशासन के विरोध में मोर्चा खोल दिया है। छात्र 19 मार्च से विश्वविद्यालय में अनशन पर बैठे हैं। छात्रों का आरोप है कि विश्वविद्यालय ने दोबारा कापियों का मूल्यांकन करने के लिए पांच हजार रुपये जमा कराए थे। इसके बाद भी हमारा रिजल्ट अब तक नहीं मिला है। मामले को लेकर अब तक कोई सुनवाई भी नहीं हुई है। रिजल्ट नहीं मिलने से छात्रों का कॅरियर दांव पर लगा है। विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन के इस रवैये से तंग आकर कई छात्र आत्महत्या करने का भी प्रयास कर चुके हैं। इस तरह छात्रों ने एक बार फिर अपनी मांगों को लेकर विवि प्रशासन के सामने मोर्चा खोल दिया है।
छात्रों का आरोप है कि हम लोगों ने मुख्यमंत्री से लेकर प्रधानमंत्री तक को अपनी समस्या से अवगत कराया है लेकिन हमारी समस्या सुलझाने के बजाय आश्वासन देकर हमे टरका दिया जा रहा है। अब हम लोग चुप नहीं बैठेंगे। यदि हमारी मांगों को पूरा नहीं किया गया तो टेक्निकल यूनिवर्सिटी के प्रदेश भर के छात्र एक होकर सरकार का बहिष्कार करेंगे। छात्रों की मांग है कि सत्र 2014-15 के छात्रों को अगले सत्र में प्रमोट किया जाए और छूटी हुई सेमेस्टर की परीक्षाएं कराई जाएं। साथ ही ईयर बैक रूल खत्म किया जाए। इसके साथ दो विषयों में बैक आने वाले छात्रों को भी डिग्री दी जाए। साल 2014-15 की स्पेशल कैरीओवर परीक्षा की कापियों की जांच स्वतंत्र से कराई जाए। भूख हड़ताल के तीसरे दिन भी कोई हल न निकलता देख छात्रों ने आज कहा कि यदि मामले को कोई समाधान नहीं किया गया तो 29 तारीख को प्रदेश भर के छात्रों के साथ हम मार्च निकालेंग।

LUCKNOW: After knocking the doors of university and government officials, five engineering students of different colleges affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University have threatened self-immolation outside the Raj Bhawan on Friday to protest against corruption. They alleged that university officials fail more than 90% students every year and then force them to take special carry over exam for which each student has to pay Rs 750 per subject.
Students, belonging to Agra, Meerut, Mathura, Lucknow, Noida and other cities had on December 1 submitted a memorandum to the governor (a copy of which is with TOI) stating that the university officials have been giving false assurances to them and no concrete action has been taken by authorities on their complaints.
"In every semester, more than 90% students are failed, after which university extorts money from us in the name of carry-over exam and even in the carry-over, a large number of students are failed,'' said a student, claiming they have even written to the PMO, and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, but no reply has come from there.
The students thanked the social media which brought them together to fight against a common cause. "It started with a normal conversation among a few students when it struck us that we should highlight the corrupt practices at a bigger level. We formed many pages and Whatsapp group and decided to take the extreme step,'' said another student.

University spokesperson Ashish Mishra rubbished the allegations and said, ``University has 3.5 lakh students and the number of students protesting are only handful. University is not meant to fail students. But its not the students who will decide their marks. This is the jurisdiction of the teachers.''
