REPORT ON A VISIT TO SATYAM FASHION INSTITUTE, NOIDA

I had the opportunity to visit Satyam Fashion Institute, Noida, as part of an educational visit. The experience was highly informative and gave me an opportunity to explore various creative fields beyond the traditional academic environment.
During the visit, I gained valuable knowledge about fashion designing, textile designing and lifestyle accessories. I learned how creativity, technology and design skills are combined to create innovative clothing, fabrics and accessories. The visit also helped me understand the various career opportunities available in these creative fields.
I found the facilities at the institute to be modern, engaging and highly interactive. I actively participated in various activities such as anchoring, AI-driven designing, photography and theatre. These activities helped me understand my own interests and gave me practical exposure to fields that I had mostly known only theoretically.
I was particularly fascinated by the use of Artificial Intelligence in designing, as it showed me how technology is transforming creative careers.
Another valuable part of the visit was learning about Mass Communication and Journalism. I got an insight into how these fields work and the different career opportunities they offer. The interaction with the Principal was also very engaging and encouraging. Their approachable nature and willingness to interact with students made the experience more meaningful.
The practical activities and interactive sessions helped students recognise their individual interests and understand how creative skills can be developed into meaningful careers
Overall, my visit to Satyam Fashion Institute was an enriching and eye-opening experience. It allowed me to explore new areas, develop a better understanding of creative professions and discover career paths that I had not previously considered. The visit also encouraged all of us to think beyond conventional career choices and explore our own talents and interests.

Investiture Ceremony

*Shanti International School* organised its *Investiture Ceremony on 19th August*, celebrating the appointment of the new Student Council and formally entrusting them with the responsibility of student leadership.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of the *parents of the newly appointed council members, who shared their thoughts from the podium. They expressed their heartfelt happiness and pride in seeing their children take on leadership roles and described the occasion as a **memorable and proud moment for their families*.
The *outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl* hosted the ceremony and shared valuable reflections from their experiences during the previous academic year. Their words offered meaningful insights into leadership, responsibility and the importance of serving as a positive example for others.
The *March Past* added a sense of discipline, pride and grandeur to the ceremony, reflecting the spirit and unity of the school.
Addressing the newly appointed leaders, *Principal Ma’am* Ms. Sadhvi Verma, delivered an inspiring message on leadership. She emphasized that true leadership is not merely about holding a position but about *being a role model, demonstrating discipline, taking responsibility and inspiring others through one’s actions*. She encouraged the council members to lead with integrity, humility and commitment.
The ceremony concluded on a proud and inspiring note, marking the beginning of a new journey of *leadership, responsibility and service* for the Student Council of *Shanti International School*.

Shanti International School, Noida celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. A Special Assembly was organised where students presented patriotic songs, speeches and inspiring messages highlighting the importance of freedom and national unity.

As part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative, students participated enthusiastically and expressed their love and respect for the National Flag.

Various SUPW activities, Art & Craft activities and Role Play activities were conducted to encourage creativity, teamwork and awareness among students. Through these activities, students learnt about the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the values of patriotism, responsibility and unity.

The celebration concluded with a strong message of “Nation First”, inspiring students to become responsible and proud citizens of India.

NIE EXCURSION FOR CLASSES I TO IV ON 13.08.2026

Educational Visit to Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum

Our young learners from Classes I to IV of Shanti International School, Noida embarked on an enriching educational visit to the Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum, New Delhi, on 13 August 2026.

The visit provided students with an engaging opportunity to learn about Mahatma Gandhi’s life, values, and principles through interactive and multimedia experiences.

The visit was a wonderful blend of learning, exploration, and inspiration, leaving our students with meaningful memories and valuable lessons.

Students of Shanti International School, Noida participated in HUNAR 2026, an interschool competition on 6th and 7th August 2026.

The event provided our students with a valuable platform to showcase their creativity, talent and skills while interacting and competing with students from other schools. Participation in such events helped them gain confidence, exposure and a healthy spirit of competition.

The theme “U.T.S.A.V – Beyond Borders” encouraged students to explore art, culture and ideas beyond the classroom. It was an enriching experience that promoted teamwork, collaboration, communication skills and creative thinking.

Overall, the participation was a wonderful learning experience and a good opportunity for our students to represent Shanti International School at an interschool platform.

OPEN DAY: PARTNERS IN PROGRESS
The Open Day titled “Partners in Progress” was organized by Shanti International School on Saturday, 25 July 2026. with the aim of strengthening collaboration between the school and parents in shaping students’ future.
The program highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic education, emphasizing excellence in science, sports, and literature. Visitors were given an opportunity to explore various facilities and learning environments. Special attractions such as the Student Achievement Gallery, Classroom Learning Corners, and Book Fair showcased academic and creative accomplishments.
Interactive segments like the Parent Feedback Chart and Wall of Gratitude encouraged meaningful participation and strengthened the bond between parents, teachers, and students. Activities such as the Selfie Corner and Performing Arts displays added a lively and engaging atmosphere to the event.
Overall, the Open Day successfully reflected the school’s vision of nurturing young minds and building a supportive community where educators and parents work together as true partners in a child’s development.
