Abdul Hafeez, National President of SIO, met Jb MK Abdurahman Tharuvay, a respected scholar, orator, and leader from Calicut, during his recent visit to Kerala.

He had the opportunity to meet Abul A'la Maududi in 1962 in Medina, when Maududi had arrived there for a program. He shared valuable experiences and cherished memories from that meeting, along with insights drawn from his rich and eventful life. He also attended Maududi’s funeral prayer in Karachi in 1979.

Later, he became associated with the Markaz of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, contributing to an Arabic magazine as assigned by Maulana Muhammad Yusuf.

He has been associated with numerous institutions working across various fields and has made significant contributions in many areas. His autobiography, 'Knjananeshiyude Sevana Yatrakal', was released a few days ago.

The meeting was a truly memorable and enriching experience, marked by meaningful interaction and reflection.
