Successfully completed the 1st AP State Inter-School Pencak Silat Championship - 2024 at Andhra University Hall. This prestigious event witnessed participation from over 100 schools, highlighting remarkable talent and enthusiasm. The championship was graced by the presence of P. Manoj Sai, Chief Executive Officer of the Pencak Silat Association of Andhra Pradesh; Bharadwaja Reddy garu, Andhrapradesh Pencak Silat association secretary ;Adari Kishore Kumar garu, President of the Pencak Silat Association of Visakhapatnam; and R. Dayamaya garu, Chief Patron of UttarAndhra Silat, along with the honorable MLA of Vizag. Heartfelt thanks to all dignitaries for their unwavering support and encouragement, which made this event a resounding success! Organised by Visakhapatnam Secretary Venkat garu and supported by Srikakulam District Secretary ,Laxman Naidu garu.

🎉 Exciting News Alert! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the 9th AP State Pencak Silat Championship, hosted at the International Delhi Public School in Srikakulam. A huge shoutout to N. Laxman and Dayamaya Garu for their outstanding organization as the Secretary and President of the Pencak Silat Association of Srikakulam. Special thanks to the CEO, P. Manoj Sai sir,Secretary, Bharadwaj Reddy sir, Technical Director, Hasan Jani sir, and Vice President Tasin sir, for their invaluable contributions to this event.

This tournament witnessed fierce competition, with over 300 players from various districts showcasing their skills. 🥋 Srikakulam emerged as the ultimate champions, with Vizag securing the runner-up position and Chittoor securing 3rd place. Congratulations to all the participating teams for their remarkable performance!

What's even more exciting is that the medal winners from this event have earned the opportunity to represent at the Senior National Pencak Silat Championship in Bhuvaneshwar, Orissa. This national platform serves as the selection trials for prestigious events like the Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games, Asian Championship, and even the World Championship. Plus, it's a stepping stone towards being shortlisted for the National Games in Uttarakhand.
