John Technical Campus, located at Vevoor, Palghar (E) which comes under the Thane-rural district in Maharashtra. Palghar is a part of Mumbai Suburban Rail Network which extends up to Dahanu and lies on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad rail route 30 Kms north of Virar. Courses offered

The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Government

of India, recognized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the University of Mumbai. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research (SJIPR) offers the following:
1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) Degree of the University of Mumbai, a four year full-time degree course spreading over eight semesters, with• an intake capacity of 60 students

2. Diploma in Pharmacy, a two year full-time course affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) with an intake capacity of 60 students. Medium of instruction is English.

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research (Autonomous), has successfully conducted the 2-Credit Value-Added Certification Course on “Intellectual Property Rights” from Monday, 12th August to Friday, 16th August, 2024. We were privileged to host, on campus, Mr. Benedict Mascarenhas, Chairman and Managing Director, EnvisBE Solutions Pvt. Ltd. He is an expert in the field of IPR and is updated with the changing scenarios of the pharmaceutical and neutraceutical industry. Mr. Benedict Mascarenhas conducted the 30-hours course which encompassed classroom lectures that included the Fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights, their types and Governing Laws along with Hands-on training in performing Patent search using different databases like Espacenet, inPASS, USPTO.

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research (Autonomous), has successfully conducted the 2-Credit Value-Added Certification Course on “Data Analytics In Healthcare” from Monday, 12th August to Friday, 16th August, 2024. We were privileged to have, Mr. Raunak M., Technical Trainer from Campus Credentials, an individual flourishing and augmenting in the world of technology. He is Technologically Proficient in C++, Python, Java, SQL, Power BI, MySQL, Excel, Pandas, NumPY. Mr. Raunak M. conducted the course and shared his proficiency on Data Analytics with our undergraduate students. The course encompassed theory and hands-on practical sessions on Introduction to Data Analytics in Analytical tools including Excel, Power BI, Google colab, SQL, Basic and advanced formulas used in Data Analytics.
