The BA Social Work programme will introduce you to the discipline and profession of Social Work in general and the profession of Social Work in India and Goa in particular.

Through this course as a social work student you will be able to work with diverse individuals, families, and communities.

The curriculum focuses on training SW students to be able to develop an in-depth understanding of diverse views; empower diverse people to expand their capacities, resources and opportunities; and advocate for policies and services that address social conditions that limit the quality of life for all people.

The knowledge and skill base is supplemented by supportive field instructions given by academicians and field practitioners throughout the year.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Clive Pavia an alumni of the BSW.
Please keep Clive's family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

Clive, was a student of our second batch of the dept.He joined the course in 2009.He was an energetic and joyful boy.He wanted to complete his Masters out of Goa, so he gave entrance exams and finished his MSW in NN Mumbai.He was associated with the org working for environmental issues, and met me while carrying out such programmes, once even in the Panaji Market.

It is a very sad moment to accept such a sad news about losing young lives.May his soul rest in peace 🙏🌷
