In a remarkable act of philanthropy,a shortlisted list of candidates for crash course for aspiring medical students was organized on 19 October 2015, offering forty days of free coaching to help students prepare for medical entrance exams. A total of 188 students from government senior secondary schools in rural areas applied for this opportunity, hailing from places like Saloh, Gaddidhar, Balichawki Dehra, Bajaura, Chandresh, Bhawarna, Bani, Basdehra, Rail Jajri, Kanam, Ladraur, Haripur Guler, Guglara, Bharmar, and others. In a world where educational resources are often commercialized, this initiative stood out by providing free, high-quality coaching to students who lacked access to such facilities. The goal was to empower these bright, underprivileged students to compete on a national level and pursue careers in medicine.
Now, nine years later, many of these students have successfully achieved their dreams, some becoming medical professionals and serving their communities. This initiative, at a time when few considered such philanthropic efforts, highlights the profound impact that selfless acts can have on society. It serves as a reminder of the importance of uplifting rural youth and providing opportunities for those who need it most, inspiring others to contribute to similar causes that empower future generations.
