Guest Lecture on “Scope, Importance and Preparation of GPAT/NIPER JEE”

Tatyasaheb Kore College of Pharmacy, Warananagar, organized a guest lecture on “Scope, Importance and Preparation of GPAT/NIPER JEE” on 20 August 2026 at 11:00 AM onwards. The session was delivered by Dr. Mahesh Kale, Founder, Academy of NIPER Aspirants, Nashik.

The programme was organized to create awareness among pharmacy students regarding the significance of competitive examinations such as GPAT and NIPER JEE, their career opportunities, and effective preparation strategies. Dr. Kale provided valuable guidance on examination preparation, study planning, subject-wise approach, and strategies for achieving better performance.

The programme was coordinated by Dr. Sandhya Dhaka, Co-curricular In-charge, and Dr. Kiran S. Patil, GPAT and Competitive Exam Coordinator, under the guidance of Dr. A. S. Sherikar, I/C Principal, Dr. Kalpana Patil, Principal. The session was informative and beneficial for students aspiring for higher education and competitive examinations in pharmacy. The activity also supports the institute’s ongoing efforts to provide structured guidance and subject-wise preparation for GPAT and NIPER-JEE aspirants.

Guest Lecture on “How to Crack the GPAT Exam”

A guest lecture on “How to Crack the GPAT Exam” was conducted on 19 August 2026 at Tatyasaheb Kore College of Pharmacy, Warananagar. The session was delivered by Mr. Gaurav Gangadhar Gadgil, Founder and Director of Professor Gadgil’s GPAT Academy, Kolhapur.
The lecture focused on GPAT preparation strategies, examination planning, effective study approaches, and guidance for students aspiring to qualify for the GPAT examination. The session provided students with practical insights and motivation to approach competitive examination preparation in a systematic manner.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Kiran S. Patil, GPAT and Competitive Exam Coordinator, with support from Dr. Sandhya Dhaka, Co-curricular In-charge, and under the guidance of Dr. A. S. Sherikar, I/C Principal, and Dr. Kalpana Patil.
The activity served as a valuable academic and career-oriented initiative for pharmacy students, helping them understand the requirements and strategies for effective GPAT preparation.

The Training & Placement Cell, Tatyasaheb Kore College of Pharmacy (TKCP), Warananagar, organized an insightful Guest Lecture on 18th August, 2026 with topic “Future of Pharmacy in India” by Mr. Kushal Kukade,Managing Director, Institute of Pharmaceutical Training & Placements (IPTP), Kolhapur.
Mr. Kukade shared valuable insights into emerging opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, industry expectations, career development, entrepreneurship, corporate skills, and the evolving role of pharmacists in India. He encouraged students to develop industry-relevant skills, embrace innovation, and prepare themselves for the rapidly changing pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape. The session was highly informative and interactive, providing students with practical guidance and motivation to build successful careers in the pharmaceutical profession.

*VYASAN-MUKT VIDYARTHI – VYASAN-MUKT MAHARASHTRA PLEDGE AND DRUG-FREE CAMPUS INITIATIVE*

On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day (15th August 2026), Tatyasaheb Kore College of Pharmacy, Warananagar organized a “Vyasan-Mukt Vidyarthi – Vyasan-Mukt Maharashtra” (व्यसन-मुक्त विद्यार्थी – व्यसन-मुक्त महाराष्ट्र) Pledge on 14th August 2026 at 3:15 p.m. in the College Auditorium as part of the Drug-Free Campus Initiative.
All students were instructed to assemble in the College Auditorium at the scheduled time to participate in the pledge. Teaching and non-teaching staff also participated actively in the programme and supported the initiative. During the programme, the participants took the “Vyasan-Mukt Vidyarthi – Vyasan-Mukt Maharashtra” pledge and expressed their commitment to maintaining a substance-free lifestyle. Students were encouraged to avoid the use of addictive substances, discourage their peers from substance abuse, and spread awareness about the importance of a healthy and drug-free life. The activity also emphasized the collective responsibility of students and staff in creating and maintaining a Drug-Free Campus.
The awareness programme was successfully organized by the NSS Programme Officers Prof. Raman Bhopale Sir under the guidance of Dr. Kalpana Patil Madam and Dr. Amol Sherikar Sir.
The event received valuable support from the Hon. MLA Dr. Vinayraoji Kore Savkar Saheb (President, Warana Education Society), Shri N. H. Patil Sir (Provost), Dr. D. T. Shirke Sir (Vice-Chancellor), and Dr. Vilas Karjinni Sir(Chief Executive Officer).
