The Readers Club held its second session on 15th September 2017. The session focused on 'Terribly Tiny Tales'.

The students read and discussed the various tales. The Tales are dark and deep stories that use very few words.

The session also showcased the tales written by the students of F.Y. B.B.A. Towards the end of the session the participants wrote and read out their own tiny tales based on various key words.

It was a pleasure to have among us today two prominent ad filmmakers from our very own state of Goa.

The first 'In Conversation' of this semester featured Bipin Khedekar and Siddhesh Naik who are members of the registered production house by name 'Antarang' in Goa.

The students as well as staff members had a fruitful interaction with them and have invited them for a Don Bosco Film Club session coming up next month.

'Holy cow ; Unholy politics'

A debate competition was organised by the Dept. of Mass Media - DBC, Panjim on 18th July 2017 on the theme mentioned above.

A preliminary interview round was conducted to select the contestants for both teams supporting the topic as well as opposing it.

The debate went on long for more than two hours as the audience also raised questions to both the teams after the judges did their job. It was a pleasure to have Sir Leroy and Sir Jovial to judge the debate competition.

The results were declared in the favor of the team against beef ban in India. Kenneth from FYBCA was announced as the Best Debater of the competition.

The Dept. of Mass Media - DBC, Panjim will hold such debates every month to bring up and discuss such violent issues in the nation.
