A national level seminar was held on the topic of Babasaheb Ambedkar's thoughts. The seminar was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. K. C. Poriya and the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Rohitbhai N. Desai. The main speakers of the seminar were Dr. Vijaybhai Jhala and Mr. Yogeshbhai Parekh. Dr. Vijaybhai, in his speech, said that the contribution of saints, mahants and social reformers in the development of this country cannot be denied. He reminded us of the works of Sant Ramanujacharya, Swami Vivekananda, Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri and the current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi. According to him, any great character is forgotten in 100 to 150 years, but even in the present, the contribution of Swami Vivekananda, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Dr. Hedgewarji cannot be forgotten. The current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai has given the goal of a developed India 2047 to the intellectual class of the nation and the entire world in 2023. To achieve this, the university educationists will have to take the initiative. By focusing on this, every citizen will have to work at a breakneck pace for the development of the country. Only then will we be able to realize the vision of the Prime Minister. He further said that the four pillars for a developed India were explained by Babasaheb before independence.

Babasaheb was not only the messiah of Dalits but also worked for the entire world. He even resigned from the post of Law Minister for the Hindu Code Bill applicable to all. He got the Pregnancy Act implemented for the entire world of women. In addition, Babasaheb also thought about natural issues like agriculture, environment and water conservation. As the chairman of the seminar, the Vice Chancellor introduced Babasaheb as a social thinker and talked about equality, justice and human dignity. He also said that all-round development will happen only if every person gets an opportunity for development. He also introduced sustainable development and stressed that the youth should not misuse technology in the present times. He also stressed that Indian culture is a culture that has a connection with nature.
The General Secretary of the University, Shri, spoke extensively about Babasaheb's education, equality and justice, and democracy and values.
The second speaker of the seminar, Shri Yogeshbhai Parekh, explained the issue of performing civic duties and laid more emphasis on performing duties rather than rights. He recalled Babasaheb and said that our Constitution gives us freedom, not free will.
The seminar was attended by the President of the Educational Association, Shri Bhikhabhai Patel, Shri Niranjanbhai Patel, the President of the Municipality, Honorable Hiralben Shri Chiragbhai Patel, as well as the citizens of the city and district.
The entire seminar was organized by Ambedkar Chair Co-ordinator Dr. Jay Bhai Trivedi and the Ambedkar Chair team. The program was conducted by Shri Ripesh Bhai Barot. In the end, Dr. Roshan Agarwal gave the vote of thanks for the program.
