ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਦੇ 15 ਹੋਸਟਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਸਮੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕੀ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੇਠ 'ਵਿਕਸਤ ਭਾਰਤ 2047 ਯੁਵਾ ਕਨੈਕਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ' ਲੜੀ ਤਹਿਤ ਇਹ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਐੱਨ. ਐੱਸ. ਐੱਸ. ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਯੁਵਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਇਸ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਵਿੱਚ 1000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਡਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ।
Students in 15 hostels of the Punjabi University campus took a formal oath today to abstain from using drugs. Notably, various activities are being organized under the 'Viksit Bharat 2047 Youth Connect Program' as per the guidelines by Government of India. This activity, conducted by the Department of NSS, Department of Youth Welfare, and Dean, Students' Welfare Office, saw participation from over 1,000 students and hostel wardens.
