ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਅੰਡਰ-ਗਰੈਜੂਏਟ (ਯੂ.ਜੀ.) ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ-ਗਰੈਜੂਏਟ (ਪੀ.ਜੀ) ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਖ਼ਲੇ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਮਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2026–27 ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਅੰਡਰ-ਗਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ (ਬਿਨਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ) ਲਈ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਲੇਟ ਫੀਸ ਤੋਂ ਆਖਰੀ ਮਿਤੀ ਹੁਣ 22 ਮਈ 2026 (ਸ਼ਾਮ 5:00 ਵਜੇ) ਤੱਕ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ, ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਚੋਣਾਂ-2026 ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਡਰ-ਗਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੌਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਮਿਤੀ 1 ਅਤੇ 2 ਜੂਨ, 2026 ਨੂੰ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਕੌਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਾਲ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਾਲ਼ੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਹੋਰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਿਤ ਦਾਖ਼ਲਾ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਡਬਲਿਊ ਡਬਲਿਊ ਡਬਲਿਊ ਡਾਟ ਪੀਯੂਪੀ ਅਡਮਿਸ਼ਨਜ਼ ਡਾਟ ਏਸੀ ਡਾਟ ਇਨ 'ਤੇ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੈ।
Punjabi University has extended the final date for admission to various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. The last date to fill out online applications without a late fee for various undergraduate courses (without entrance test) for the academic session 2026–27 has now been extended to May 22, 2026 (until 5:00 PM). This decision regarding the extension was taken keeping in view the ongoing Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, and Nagar Panchayat Elections-2026 in Punjab. The counseling for all undergraduate courses will now be conducted on June 01 and 02, 2026, at the respective departments. ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਉਪ-ਕੁਲਪਤੀ ਡਾ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਚੰਦ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਕਾਨਫ਼ਰੰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਕਾਨਫ਼ਰੰਸ ਉੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਸਿਹਤ, ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਅਹਿਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਚਰਚਾ ਹਿਤ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ।
Dr. Jagdeep Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Punjabi University, attended a special conference in Chandigarh presided over by the Honorable Governor of Punjab and Chancellor of Punjabi University Shri Gulab Chand Kataria.
​The conference was organized to discuss critical issues, including students' mental health in higher education institutions, the National Education Policy, and anti-drug campaigns in universities.

ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2025-26 ਦੀ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਪਲੇਸਮੈਂਟ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ 'ਤੇ ਉਪ-ਕੁਲਪਤੀ ਡਾ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਚੇਚੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਪਲੇਸਮੈਂਟ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 30 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 16 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪੈਕੇਜ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਨ। ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ, ਐਸੋਸੀਏਟ ਸਾਫਟਵੇਅਰ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ, ਏ.ਆਈ. ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ, ਸਾਈਬਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ, ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਸਰਚ ਐਨਾਲਿਸਟ ਆਦਿ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਔਸਤ ਪੈਕੇਜ ਲਗਭਗ 4.50 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

Students have clinched exceptional job offers with packages reaching up to ₹16.00 Lakhs Per Annum (LPA). University students have been successfully selected for important roles, including System Engineers, Associate Software Engineers, AI Engineers, Cybersecurity Engineers, and Patent Search Analysts. The average package for university students consistently stood at approximately 4.50 LPA.

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੈਚਲਰ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾ ਯੂ.ਜੀ.-ਪੀ.ਜੀ. ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲੇ ਲਈ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਮਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Punjabi University has extended the last date for submitting online applications for various Bachelor’s courses and five-year Integrated UG-PG programs. The online applications can now be submitted without a late fee until May 18, 2026 (by 5 PM). The earlier cutoff was May 15, 2026. There is no change to the counseling dates. Counseling for these courses will proceed as per the original schedule on May 25 & 26, 2026. ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਉਪ-ਕੁਲਪਤੀ ਡਾ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿਖੇ ਜਨਗਣਨਾ 2027 ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈ-ਗਣਨਾ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਰਸਮੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਡਾ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਸਵੈ-ਗਣਨਾ ਵਿਧੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਕਰ ਪੋਰਟਲ 'ਤੇ ਦਾਇਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਆਗਾਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ।
The Vice-Chancellor of Punjabi University, Dr. Jagdeep Singh, formally inaugurated the Census 2027 operations and the Self-Enumeration campaign at the university campus. Marking the commencement of this nationwide exercise, Dr. Jagdeep Singh initiated the drive by completing his own self-enumeration.

ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੱਤ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਉਪ-ਕੁਲਪਤੀ ਡਾ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲ਼ੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਪੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਤਕਸੀਮ ਕੀਤੇ।
The concluding ceremony of a seven-day computer workshop, organized by the university's Punjabi Computer Help Centre, was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jagdeep Singh. On this occasion, he also distributed certificates to the participating students.

The Women’s Studies Centre of Punjabi University has launched a campaign dedicated to 'Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026'. The initiative commenced with a special mensural health awareness program organized for girls and women working under MGNREGA in the village of Raipur Mandalan that was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Jagdeep Singh.

The week-long workshop series, organized by the Dean Student Welfare across various university hostels, concluded successfully today. The valedictory ceremony for this workshop, themed 'Exam Stress Management', was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Jagdeep Singh.

ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਵੀ ਡਾ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਹੂਜਾ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਂਕਾਵਿ 'ਕਲਿਜੁਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰੁ' ਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਗੋਸ਼ਟੀ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਉਪ-ਕੁਲਪਤੀ ਡਾ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
The Dean of Languages at Punjabi University organized a book launch and seminar for the book ‘Kalijug Praman Nanak Guru’ authored by poet Dr. Jagdeep Kaur Ahuja. The event was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jagdeep Singh.

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ 'ਆਯੁਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ' ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ਼ ਅੱਜ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਫੁਟਬਾਲ ਗਰਾਊਂਡ ਵਿਖੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਯੋਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ 'ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਯੋਗ ਦਿਵਸ 2026' ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ 100 ਦਿਨਾ ਕਾਊਂਟਡਾਊਨ ਦੇ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ​ਉਪ ਕੁਲਪਤੀ ਡਾ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਵੀ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਯੋਗ ਆਸਣ ਕੀਤੇ।
The Department of Physical Education at Punjabi University, in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH, (Government of India) organized a special yoga program today at the university's football ground. This event was held as part of the celebrations for the 100-day countdown to International Yoga Day 2026. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jagdeep Singh attended the ceremony as the chief guest and actively participated by performing various yoga asanas during the session.
