National recognition in innovation and entrepreneurship at TIET.

We are proud to share that Team Vayusetu from the Department of Biotechnology Engineering emerged as the Winner of InnoMax 2026 - Thermax National Innovation Challenge, held in Pune, India.

Competing against some of the brightest young innovators in the country, the team secured the top position and a cash prize of ₹5 lakh for their innovative solution, impactful vision, and outstanding presentation.
The winning team comprises:

Awanti Prakash
Kartavya Singh Raizada

The team was mentored by Dr. Bunushree Behera.

With over 200+ submissions received nationwide, only 11 teams were shortlisted for the Grand Finale, making this achievement a remarkable testament to the team’s innovation, perseverance, and problem-solving capabilities.
