The club functions under the patronage of Dr. Sr. M. Rashmi A.C. (Principal) and the supervision of Dr. Sr. M. Saroj A.C. (Teacher-in-charge).

The Department of Education, Patna Women's College Autonomous, organized an educational field visit to the College of Arts and Crafts, Patna University, on 8th and 9th May 2026 for Semester II students (2025-27). The visit was guided by Mohan Kumar Sir.
Students attended an interactive session on Graphic Printmaking conducted by Dev Priya, a fourth-year BFA student, who introduced processes such as Relief, Intaglio, Silkscreen, and Lithography. They also visited the Painting Department, where Assistant Professor, Mr. Chandbhushan Srivastava explained the structure and specializations of the BFA programme.
At the Sculpture Department, students observed a live demonstration of sculpture-making on the wheel by Rajneesh, a sixth-semester student, gaining insight into traditional artistic techniques.
The visit provided valuable exposure to various forms of visual arts and concluded with a vote of thanks by Tanya Patel, Prefect of the Department of Education.

On Earth Day, 22nd April 2026, the Department of Education, Patna Women's College Autonomous, launched the “Nurture the Nature” Programme to promote environmental awareness, for the students of session 2025-27.
Under this initiative, each student adopts and nurtures a plant over a two-year period, caring for it and recording its growth within the department.
The programme encourages responsibility and sustainability, creating a green space and reinforcing the message: “One student, one plant, one greener tomorrow.”

The Department of Education, Patna Women's College Autonomous, in collaboration with the Department of Education, Patna University, organized an Inter-House Quiz Competition on 21st April 2026 on the theme “NEP 2020 & Teaching Aptitude.” The event was conducted by teacher educators (interns) for the second semester B. Ed. students of the session 2025-27.
Four teams - Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow House, participated enthusiastically in three rounds conducted by quiz masters Neha Kumari, Priya, and Alok Kumar. The questions covered teaching aptitude, NEP 2020, and quotes from educationists like Herbert Spencer and Swami Vivekanand. The competition ended in a tie between Blue and Green House, followed by a tie-breaker, where Blue House secured first position and Green House stood second. The winners were felicitated by Dr. Madhumita.

The Department of Education, Patna Women's College Autonomous, celebrated World Heritage Day on 18th April 2026 with enthusiasm and academic spirit. The programme, anchored by Honey and Raushani, brought together students and faculty to reflect on India’s rich cultural heritage and the importance of its preservation.

The highlight of the event was a special lecture by Dr. Prabhas Ranjan, Assistant Professor, Department of Education on “Jantar Mantar: Monumenting the Heritage of Indian Panchangas,” which explored India’s astronomical traditions and the science of time-keeping. The occasion also marked the global observance of World Heritage Day under ICOMOS and UNESCO, aimed at promoting awareness of cultural heritage.

Dr. Ranjan discussed Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century observatories built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, used for astronomical observations such as time measurement and eclipse prediction. He also explained the Indian Panchanga, a traditional almanac based on five elements Tithi, Vara, Nakshatra, Yoga, and Karana highlighting its scientific foundation and connection to Jantar Mantar.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Lovely Dwivedi, followed by the National Anthem, marking a meaningful and memorable celebration.

The Department of Education, Patna Women's College Autonomous, conducted a School Exposure Programme II for Semester II B.Ed. students (Session 2025-27) from 6th to 11th April 2026 under the theme “Hamari Vasundhara.”
The trainees were assigned to various government schools in Patna, including Government Girls High School and Government Boys High School (Shastri Nagar), Rajkiya Balika Uchch Vidyalaya (Chiraiyatad), Devipad Choudhary Shaheed Smarak Miller High School, and Bankipore Rajkiya Balika Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya.
The programme commenced with an Orientation of the Theme, highlighting the significance of “Hamari Vasundhara.” This was followed by a Yoga Session on World Health Day, focusing on breathing exercises, basic asanas, and relaxation techniques to promote well-being.
An Activity on Making Bottle Planters encouraged creativity and environmental awareness through reuse, along with a presentation on “SDGs: छोटे कदम, बड़ा बदलाव,” emphasizing sustainable practices. A Slogan Writing Competition on the theme further inspired students to express their views on environmental conservation.
The programme concluded with a skit titled “Dharti ki Pukar,” followed by an Exhibition of Bottle Planters and slogans, showcasing the creativity and learning outcomes of the students.

The Valedictory Ceremony for the 2024-2026 batch of the Department of Education, Patna Women's College Autonomous, was held on 10th April 2026. The programme began with a prayer service led by Sister Shalini and her group, seeking blessings for the college community and the outgoing students.
Students including Kumari Supriya Singh, Priyanka Kumari, Prakriti, Preeti Lata Hansdak, Payal Prabhat, Gunjan, Shristy, and Maurya Priyadarshi shared heartfelt memories, creating an emotional and nostalgic atmosphere.
Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, congratulated the students and encouraged them to remain empathetic and value-driven educators. A candle-lighting ceremony symbolized the transfer of knowledge and values, followed by an oath taken by students to uphold honesty and dedication in their teaching careers.
The students were presented with mementos and also expressed their gratitude to the department. The ceremony concluded with the college anthem, marking a warm and memorable farewell.

On 7th April 2026, 2nd semester students (session 2025-27) of the Department of Education, Patna Women's College Autonomous, celebrated World Health Day by organizing yoga sessions in various government schools across Patna. These included Government Girls High School and Government Boys High School (Shastri Nagar), Rajkiya Balika Uchch Vidyalaya (Chiraiyatad), Devipad Choudhary Shaheed Smarak Miller High School, and Bankipore Rajkiya Balika Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya.
