INQUEST '21 is the flagship quiz organised by Q For Quizzica, the CNLU Quiz Club. The competition will be held in 2 stages: prelims on Dare2Compete and finals on Zoom. The QM for the event is Mr. Palak Kumar.

The event is open to lone wolves only, no teams are allowed.

There is no registration fee for the participants, and exciting cash prizes for the winners as well.

Hey everyone,
hope y'all are fine. Yes you guessed it right, well we are back again with yet another another orientation. We understand that you've been through a lot and attending classes and orientation one after another, just adds on to the already unbearable pressure. But believe this orientation is going to be about one of those interesting activity which will help you survive the law school life. The ADC will be organizing orientation about the Quizzing club of CNLU a.k.a Quizzica on 17th. We are extremely elated to announce that the team of Muhammad Mahatab, Gautam Gupta and Sarthak Chaturvedi have emerged as the runners up in SBI Numero YONO quiz.

It is also a matter of great pride to see Anupam Kumar, Mohit Kumar and Sanat as the finalist of the regional round.

A LAW QUIZ is being organised by Lloyd Law College on the 1st of March 2020.

I.LANGUAGE

The language for the competition is English.

II.DRESS CODE

The dress code for all the competition shall be Western Formals for Gentlemen
and Western or Indian Formals for Ladies.

III. RULES & REGULATIONS.

1. Each Team shall comprise of two participants.
2. There shall be only one team from one college.
3. The preliminary round shall be in the written form.
4. The questions shall be in the form of multiple choice, true/false
statements, specific answer based etc.
5. Top 8 teams scoring the highest marks in the written quiz shall qualify for
the final round.
6. Quiz will cover topics related to:
a) Constitutional Laws
b) Current Affairs
c) Case Laws

IV. SEQUENCE

1. Screening Round (written)

i. There are 50 Multiple Choice Questions in the Preliminary written
rounds. Time duration for Preliminary round is 30 min. On the basis
of merit, teams shall qualify for the final round.

ii. After the Preliminary round, test copies will be checked and the result
for the teams selected for the final round will be declared. Eight teams
shall qualify to face quiz rounds.

2. Round I.
1. 5 questions shall be put up per team.
2. 30 seconds shall be given for giving the answer.
3. 10 marks each shall be awarded for the correct.

3. Round II. Case Law Round
Rules similar to round-I There will be draw of lots for allocation of a
particular case law to a team and questions related to that case will be asked
from that team.

4. Round III. Audio Visual Round (Buzzer Round – Clippings will be
shown)
1. The teams shall view the screen for the visual question or listen to the
audio clipping and then provide the answer.
2. The respondent, who presses the buzzer the earliest, shall answer the
question.
3. Other rules are similar to round I.

5. Round IV. Rapid Fire Round
1. Questions shall be put up before the teams within a span of one minute.
2. The respondent has to provide the answers in quick succession.
3. Each Question shall be of 10 marks each.

V. REGISTRATION
1. Registration (without accommodation and only lunch) - Rs. 800/-
2. Last date of Registration – 27th January 2020.
3. Date of Competition- 1 March 2020.

VI. AWARDS
1. Winner: Rs. 11000/- with trophy and certificate.
2. First Runner up: Rs. 7000/- with trophy and certificate.
3. Second Runner up: Rs. 3000/- with trophy and certificate.

Interrobang 2020 will be hosted by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad at the NALSAR Auditorium in Hyderabad on the weekend of 18th-19th January 2020. The biggest draw at this edition will be the presence of India's best quizmaster, Major Chandrakant Nair, who will be hosting two quizzes.

The schedule is as follows:

2 pm - MELAS Quiz by Anshul Isaac and Vedaarth Uberoi
6 pm - Attorney General Quiz (written only) by Pranav Mihir Kandada and Anubhav Sachdeva

The Rules, Regulations and Eligibility Criteria for Interrobang, 2020 is as follows:

Teams should consist of THREE members or less.
Cross-college teams ARE allowed.
The quiz is open to students pursuing full-time degrees from institutes that are affiliated to universities or are universities themselves.
The quizzes are only for those doing their undergraduate degrees (this includes those enrolled in integrated Masters/PhDs) and postgraduate students born after 18th January, 1995.
It is NOT open for teams from courses run by professional associations such as ICAI, ICSI etc. This list is merely indicative and NOT exhaustive.
Participants pursuing degrees through distance mode learning are NOT eligible.
Participants pursuing Diploma courses are NOT eligible.
Identification cards will have to be carried by all participants. There is no limit on the number of teams that can take part from an institution.

With the fantastic quizzing experience the MPzero4 boasted of last year, which saw quizzes conducted by the likes of Major Chandrakant Nair, Kushan Patel and Lokesh Kaza, this year will see a bigger and better 3-days-3-quizzes event in the lush greenery of Bhopal.

This year there'll be a general quiz, a pop culture quiz conducted by Kushan Patel, and a quiz on India by Shantanu, with cash prizes up to 1.15 lakhs to be won.

The specifics for the quizzes are:

When: 6-9 February, 2020

Where: NLIU Bhopal

Team composition: up to 3 members, cross-college teams allowed

Rs 2200/- per person for entry into all three quizzes and 3 days of accommodation. Rs. 300 extra for entry into all star night performances, set to light up Bhopal. They also have some great artists lined up for you!

Quizzers can also avail other options like entry into quizzes only minus the accommodation at Rs 400.

Quriosity’20 will be hosted by Qureka in Manipal University Jaipur on the 25th-26th January 2019. The biggest draw this edition will be the presence of one of India's best and most popular quizmaster, Major Chandrakant Nair who will be hosting two quizzes.
