LPU Department of Fine Arts - printmaking offers students complete studio experiences in the medium's four major disciplines--relief, intaglio, lithography, and screen printing--as they master both traditional and contemporary techniques in the department's exceptional printmaking facilities. Exposure to directions such as book concepts, photo-printmaking, computer-assisted printmaking, collagraph, and monoprinting encourages interdisciplinary combinations of printmaking with other media or installations. Students learn to shape the form and content of media across the spectrum of publishing, from the printed page to the Internet, and emerge from the program with a personal voice as a designer and artist. LPU Department of Fine Arts -Painting-Through a rigorous curriculum that explores traditional conventions and contemporary methods and forms, students in LPU's painting major develop the ability to give voice to their ideas. Fine Art Photography One of the first programs of its kind worldwide, the photography program at LPU was established more than 3 years ago. Building on this legacy, the program today thoroughly examines both still and digital photography while encouraging a diversity of approaches. Students master technical skills as they work in state-of-the-art digital facilities, learn traditional and alternative darkroom processes, and develop a deep understanding of the medium's history and contemporary directions
