Congratulations Pinki for your Ph.D. thesis defence!!
Pinki successfully defended her PhD thesis titled “A Graph Theoretic and an Algorithmic Approach to Floor-Planning” under the supervision of Prof. Krishnendra Shekhawat.

This thesis presented a linear time algorithm for the construction of a floor plan for a given planar triangulated graph with the minimum number of bends. The proposed algorithm has been further implemented which results in a python-based application called G-Drawer. The user interface of G-Drawer allows users to draw a planar triangulated graph G and G-Drawer then outputs a floor plan (rectilinear plan boundary) with the minimum number of bends corresponding to G.
