The Department of Computer Science of G.V.M.'s Gopal Govind Poy Raiturcar College of Commerce and Economics, Farmagudi, Ponda-Goa organized a One-day State Level Workshop on NEP 2020, syllabus in SEC (Skill Enhancement Courses) of Computer Science subjects on 8th July 2023. In the brief Inaugural function, Principal of the college Prof.(Dr.) Teotone Vaz welcomed the delegates. Resource persons Shri. Ramrao Wagh, Shri. Saurabh and Vice Principal Dr. Meera R. Mayekar were present for the same. The Convenor of the Workshop Dr. Vinaya R. Gad presented the theme and emphasized that data science plays a significant role in almost every sector and educators need to upgrade their skills and keep abreast of the emerging technologies.
