Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital (AVMC&H) organized a series of Mobile Medical Camps and Specialty Outreach Programmes from 06 July to 10 July 2026 across several rural villages and satellite centres in Cuddalore district, reinforcing its commitment to providing accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services to remote areas.
As part of its rural healthcare outreach initiative, Mobile Medical Unit Camps were conducted in collaboration with Sevabharathi, covering the villages of Ramapuram, Vazhisodhanaipalayam, Thangalikuppam, Ramanathankuppam, Silambimangalam, Aandaar Mullipallam, Vellapakkam, Marudhadu, Thirumanikuzhi, and Kuravanpalayam. These outreach camps offered free medical consultations, general health screening, treatment guidance, preventive healthcare education, disease screening, and referral services for patients requiring specialized medical care at AVMC&H.
Specialty Outreach Camps were organized at AVMC&H Satellite Centres. These included a Dermatology Specialty Camp at Saathipattu Satellite Centre, a Dentistry Specialty Camp at Silambinathanpettai Satellite Centre, a Pain & Palliative Care Specialty Camp at Pachaiyankuppam Satellite Centre, and a Paediatrics Specialty Camp at Nellikuppam Satellite Centre..
This week the AVMC&H medical teams provided healthcare services to over 210 beneficiaries through both Mobile Medical Unit Camps and Specialty Outreach Clinics.
