Let’s stand for justice and respect!
Let’s abolish the inhumane treatment of the students by the administration!
Let’s struggle for the dismissal and jailing of Hariharan and his criminal gang!
Dear friends, the autocracy of the university administration has reached its worst manifestation with the atrocious treatment meted out against the poor student Radha Krishnan at the hands of Hariharan, the director of Academic Staff College and the controller of the university affaires. Radha Krishnan, a student studying I M.A in the school of Tamil, was charged of barging into the women’s hostels naked. While the instance of a mysterious criminal barging into the women’s hostel has been continuing for several months, the administration and security establishment have miserably failed to find out and punish the real culprit. To tackle this, Hariharan wrongly accused Radha Krishnan of committing this crime and forced to accept his charges by kidnapping, beating up, intimidating and humiliating him in extremely shameful and shabby manners. Booshan, a faculty in school of Management, Shiyam, security personal, Gunasekaran, SO of the security did all the inhumane activities against this student under the leadership of Hariharan. After a committee was constituted to look into the matter, it found out the accusations to be out rightly falls and malicious. It also verified the video footages at the PU Central Library and found the truth that Radha Krishnan had been at the library at the time when he has been charged of barging into the women’s hostel. Now the administration is shamelessly trying to protect Hariharan and his gang and hide all their manipulations. Having been beaten up and humiliated continuously for more than two days, Radha Krishnan has become too weak even to hold his life. He tried to commit su***de twice and was saved by fellow students. This is not an isolated incident, but a continuation of all the criminal and autocratic activities of Hariharan and his gang with the blessings of the Vice—Chancellor. Are we going to remain passive even now? That would mean the death of all our basic rights and a suicidal act for the whole university. Let’s protest uncompromisingly for the removal of Hariharan from the University positions. Let’s press for immediate arrest of Hariharan and his gang. Let’s also demand for the university administration and the gang involved in this criminal activity to apologize to the victimized student and to assure his safety in future. Importantly, let’s press the administration and security agency to find out the real culprit who barged into the women’s hostel and arrest him immediately. Let’s win back our democratic rights through our own struggles. We request your whole-hearted support in this. Please join us in the protests and stand for justice and self-respect.
