Marking with purpose, professional excellence and a strong call to action at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL).

We were privileged to welcome Mr. Ajay Seth, IAS, Chairman, IRDAI, as Chief Guest for the occasion.

In his address, Mr. Seth urged students to focus their expertise on the “bottom of the pyramid” and highlighted the role actuaries can play in advancing financial inclusion. By addressing the needs of the most vulnerable and working upwards, actuaries can contribute to building a more equitable society. A fireside chat at the Center for Actuarial and Data Sciences (CADS) brought together Mr. Seth, faculty, students and industry leaders for an engaging interaction on the future of the profession.

Event Highlights:

🔹 Presentations showcasing SSSIHL’s Actuarial Science Programme
🔹 Student business case presentations and Riskverse 2026 Hackathon awards
🔹 Launch of the Actuarial Student Club
🔹 Networking and interaction between industry leaders and aspiring actuaries

At CADS, our endeavour is to nurture professionals who combine technical excellence with social responsibility—leaders who use their knowledge to create meaningful and equitable solutions.

To our industry partners and alumni, thank you for your continued engagement, encouragement and for demonstrating the real-world impact of purposeful actuarial practice.

To our students, thank you for being at the heart of this journey. Your knowledge, integrity and commitment to society will help shape the future of financial inclusion in our nation.

Anti-Ragging Week 2026 | Building a Campus of Care, Respect & Belonging

Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12–18 August 2026, reaffirming its commitment to a safe, respectful and supportive campus environment.

The week brought together students and faculty through a series of engaging activities, including panel discussions, an interactive awareness session, a “Ragging-Free Campus” human chain, and a digital campaign pitch competition.

Through discussion, reflection and creative expression, students explored the importance of empathy, responsible behaviour, peer support, bystander intervention and a culture of care in preventing ragging.

The week concluded with a Valedictory Programme and Certificate Distribution, celebrating the enthusiastic participation and creativity of the student community.

At SSSIHL, ragging is alien to our ethos and culture. Together, we reaffirm our commitment to a campus founded on respect, care, responsibility and mutual support.

AMRx® wins the Silver Medal at the Silicon Valley International Invention Festival (SVIIF) 2026!

We are proud to share that AMRx® has been awarded the Silver Medal at the Silicon Valley International Invention Festival — America's largest innovation exposition — held on 14–16 August 2026 in Santa Clara, California, USA, under the international patronage of WIPO and hosted by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA).

The award recognises Dr. Bulagonda Eswarappa Pradeep of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) for the invention:

AMRx® — An AI-Powered, Culture-Free Clinical Decision Support System for Antimicrobial Resistance Management in Urinary Tract Infections (UTI).

Antimicrobial resistance is one of the defining health challenges of our time. AMRx® brings patient-specific information into the critical window before culture and susceptibility results are available, supporting earlier, more precise antibiotic decisions and stronger antimicrobial stewardship.

This recognition on a global stage is a proud moment for SSSIHL and reflects the trailblazing journey of AMRx®, which continues to earn a growing series of national and international honours.

A special thank you to our partner, SCIINV Biosciences Private Limited., whose collaboration has been central to taking this innovation from the laboratory to global recognition. This success is truly shared.

Congratulations to the entire team. The journey continues.
