South Indian Medical Students Conference (SIMSCON) is held annually at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medica

SIMSCON or South Indian Medical Students Conference is held annually at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital. This conference provides a platform where students can showcase their findings in Research and presentation skills. The unique aspect of SIMSCON-17 is that it is completely organised by Medical Students. That includes right from creating this page, receiving and organizing R

egistrations to arranging Accommodation, Transport and Food. The Pre-Conference Workshops are conducted on June 29th continued by the Conference on June 30th and July 1st.

The English Language is odd. The oddity that we all perceive most readily is its spelling, which is indeed a nightmare. This peculiarity is probably most obvious to Medical Students who have to deal with a complex medical terminology all the more complicated with loan words from Greek and Latin. But learning these strange new medical words and their spellings can be fun and Spell Master is the place for you to put your spelling prowess to the test. Medical words (names of syndromes, anatomical parts, etc) will be read out to you and you can try and spell them within the stipulated time.
