The Islamic University of Science & Technology has issued Admission (Selection) Notification No. 22 of 2026 for Postgraduate Programmes, in M.A. International Relations and M.A. Political Science.

Candidates provisionally selected for the M.A. International Relations and M.A. Political Science programme are advised to carefully go through the notification and complete all admission formalities within the stipulated timeline.

Important:
โœ… Upload the required documents through the admission portal.
โœ… Report to the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, IUST, with all original documents and the requisite fee on or before 05 August 2026 (excluding Saturday & Sunday).

CIR Organises Session on Introductory Economics for Competitive Exams Awantipora, April 21: The Centre of International Relations (CIR), Islamic University of Science and Technology (|UST), organised a coaching session on "Introductory Economics for Competitive Examinations" under its ongoing CIR Coaching Programme. Aimed at strengthening the preparation of aspirants for civil services and other competitive examinations, the session delivered by Dr. Javaid A Bhat from Department of economics focused on building conceptual clarity and analytical understanding of core economic principles in line with examination requirements. The initiative seeks to provide structured academic support and expert guidance to students, enhancing their readiness for national and state-level competitive exams. IUST Hosts DC Kulgam Under CIR Coaching Initiative

Awantipora, December 09: The Centre for International Relations (CIR), Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), organized interactive program with Mr. Athar Aamir Khan, IAS and Deputy Commissioner Kulgam under its โ€˜Conversations with Civil Servantsโ€™Programme. The program presided over by Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, Vice Chancellor IUST was
attended by the Registrar, Prof. Abdul Wahid Makdoomi, along with Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, faculty members, scholars and students. In the inaugural session of the program, Prof. Romshoo highlighted the Universityโ€™s dual responsibility to uphold academic excellence while supporting studentsโ€™ career aspirations. He affirmed that the CIR Coaching
Initiative exemplifies the Universityโ€™s commitment to advancing skill development and fostering career preparedness among students.
Mr. Athar Aamir Khan (IAS) shared reflections on his civil services journey and underscored the value of initiating civil services preparation during university years, noting that they provide both a robust academic foundation and an enabling environment for such a demanding pursuit. Head CIR, Dr. Syed Jaleel Hussain, emphasized the importance of platforms that
