“Here’s to the strong women: May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”
Women's Day is celebrated throughout the globe on 8thMarch every year. Celebrating Women's Day is an opportunity to appreciate the remarkable contribution of women to our society.
Woman'- is a word that conjures up a lot of images in our minds and brings out varied emotions as selfless love, nurturing and caring attitude.
Every year, Women’s Day is celebrated with an official theme. The theme for Women’s Day 2021 is “ Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world".
The crisis has highlighted both the centrality of their contributions and the disproportionate burdens that women carry. The day celebrates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
It highlights how women can be equal partners in decision-making processes, especially those regarding policymaking.
Celebrated on March 8 every year, this day is symbolic of the historic journey women around the world have taken to better their lives. It comes as a reminder that while a lot has been achieved, the journey is long and a lot more needs to be done.
International Women's day sees a number of missions to help forge a gender equal world.
Celebrating women's achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality, is key.

We successfully conducted a UGC mandated Self-defence workshop on 25th and 28th of January, 2021 for all the female students managers of batch 2020-2022. It was successfully conducted in three batches.
We had the golden opportunity of having Mr Satish D.Ranjhance, former Indian team coach of national federation kick boxing wako , as our Instructor.
During the workshop the student managers learnt different forms of self-defence techniques which can be used in a wide range of situations.
The session concluded with the student managers gaining a strong sense of self confidence and self reliance.
