Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE) celebrated its 19th Foundation Day alongside Symbiosis Statistical Institute, Pune (SSI) celebrating its 8th Foundation Day, hosting a joint Common Induction Programme to welcome the new cohort of economists and statisticians at Vishwabhavan Auditorium.
The event, hosted by Director Dr. Jyoti Chandiramani and SSI Director Dr Sharvari Shukla, focused on "Rewiring to remain increasingly relevant and future-ready," bringing together distinguished university leaders and global visionaries:

● Dr Ramakrishnan Raman (Vice Chancellor, SIU): Shared 7 Essential Lessons for navigating an unpredictable job market—urging students to grab opportunities boldly, work hard with no shortcuts, build positive networks, collaborate in teams, ask questions, and embrace life’s continuous learning.
● Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar (Principal Director, Symbiosis & Chancellor, SIU): Emphasized the core hallmarks of Symbiosis—unmatched campus diversity, strong global alumni connections, internationalization through exchange programs, and community engagement beyond the classroom.
● Prof. (Dr.) S. B. Mujumdar (Founder & President, Symbiosis): Highlighted the deep linkage between economics and quality education. Reminding the audience that true progress relies on ethical growth, he noted: "Education with no morals will produce only monsters."
● Dr. Ganesh Natarajan (Chief Guest): Celebrated the ceremonial release of his new book, “AI Took Your Org Chart: The Rise of Responsive Leadership in the Age of Machines.” He encouraged students to leverage AI while safeguarding their human cognitive intelligence, sharing his 5F Mantra (Fast thinking, Focus, Flexibility, Friendly, Fun) and reminding us that "Vision without action is just passed time."
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Sharvari Shukla, honouring the timeless bond between teacher and learner and celebrating a proud, shared journey forward.
