Meritorious third year BSc Blended students, along with the Head of the Department, Prof Avinash Kumbhar, had the opportunity to visit the University of Melbourne for the BSc Blended Research Camp from November 19th to 25th 2024.

Students engaged in various sessions across Physics, Chemistry and Biosciences conducted by esteemed academics from the Faculty of Science at the University of Melbourne.

Students also visited their laboratories, conversed with researchers and students, and built a strong understanding of the philosophy of research.

Moreover, students had the liberty to experience life in Melbourne and visit many tourist attractions, including the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground.

We wish to thank Deputy Vice Chancellor Global Culture and Engagement Prof Michael Wesley, Prof Muthupandian Ashokkumar, Prof Andrew Drinnan, Prof Deborah King, Prof Alex Johnson, Chiara Balsamo and Mika Shimoda for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
