The Department of Radiodiagnosis, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Medical College & Research Centre, Pune, successfully organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme, “Insight: Window to the Womb,” on 7th June 2026, in association with IRIA SAMRAKSHAN and the Global Alliance for Safe Motherhood.
The CME brought together radiologists, consultants, and residents for a comprehensive academic exchange focused on advancing fetal and obstetric radiology. Expert-led sessions covered key topics including first and second trimester screening, pre-eclampsia and fetal growth restriction (FGR), Placenta Accreta Spectrum, evaluation of the fetal posterior fossa, and the evolving role of fetal MRI. Live demonstrations provided valuable practical insights, enhancing clinical understanding and application.
The event was enriched by inspiring keynote addresses from Dr. Arun Kinare and Dr. Praveen Nirmalan, who highlighted the critical role of radiology in improving maternal and fetal outcomes.
