We are excited to announce the launch of our new Pre-Avhaan program, specially designed for children aged 7 to 9 years! 🎒

This program is a wonderful opportunity for children to take their first steps into the world of adventure. This program will introduce children to trekking, outdoor learning, nature and basic Mountaineering skills in a safe and enjoyable way.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Participation:
One parent must accompany each child throughout the program.

Leadership isn't built in classrooms alone. Sometimes, it's shaped around campfires, during difficult conversations, while making decisions under pressure, and by learning to trust the people beside you.

Over two transformative days, the Pioneer Batch of the Outdoor Leadership Program Level 1 discovered that leadership goes beyond technical skills. It is about perspective over perception, empathy over assumptions, collaboration over competition, and growth beyond comfort zones.

Every activity became a lesson in communication, emotional intelligence, teamwork, self-awareness, and responsible decision-making. Every participant contributed to creating a culture of trust, curiosity, and mutual respect.

The journey has begun. 🏔️🌧️

On 5th July 2026, more than 300 young mountaineers from the GGIM ANU 2026-27 batch took their very first step into a journey that will shape them over the coming years.

Across different trails - from Rohida Fort, Hadsar Fort, Bhadas to Waghjai, Katraj to Bopdev Ghat, and Katraj to Sinhagad - every batch experienced its own unique adventure. Heavy rain, slippery trails, strong winds, misty landscapes, and countless smiles made this first trek truly unforgettable.

This wasn’t just about reaching a destination. It was about learning resilience, teamwork, discipline, leadership, self-reliance, and developing a deeper connection with nature and our rich heritage.

Every muddy shoe, every helping hand, and every step forward marked the beginning of an incredible mountaineering journey.

Here’s to many more summits, stronger friendships, and unforgettable adventures ahead! 💚
