BVCOEW Pune Organised Expert Session on Global Technology Trends in Computer Engineering

Pune, 23rd July 2026: The Department of Computer Engineering, Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering for Women, Pune, organised an online expert session on “Global Technology Trends Shaping the Future of Computer Engineering” under its MOU collaboration with IOTIOT.in.

Principal Dr. Pradeep Jadhav appreciated the initiative and remarked that such expert sessions are vital in keeping faculty members updated with global technology trends, industry expectations, and research-driven innovation. He emphasised that continuous learning and strong industry collaboration are the foundation of academic excellence, and encouraged faculty to apply these insights to enhance student development and institutional growth.

The session was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. S. P. Kadam, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, and Prof. V. D. Kulkarni, Department MOU Coordinator.

The expert talk was delivered by Mr. Nikhil Bhaskaran, Founder and CEO of IOTIOT.in, who shared his perspectives on emerging technologies, Artificial Intelligence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and global engineering practices. He urged faculty members to embrace lifelong learning, build strong industry connections, and focus on solving real-world problems through impactful research.

The programme concluded with an interactive discussion, where faculty members exchanged ideas and sought guidance on research, innovation, and the effective use of AI in academia. The session proved highly informative and inspiring, motivating participants to strengthen industry collaboration and foster a culture of research and innovation within the department.

Dr. Pradeep Jadhav Honoured as “Principal of the Year 2026” at Pune Education Conclave

Pune, 18th July 2026: Dr. Pradeep Jadhav, Principal of *Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering for Women, Pune*, was conferred the prestigious “Principal of the Year 2026” award at the Pune Education Conclave 2026. The conclave was jointly organised by Teach Us and Innoveda, powered by *D2L and Ether, and co-powered by Alforaa. The event brought together eminent educationists, academic leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across the country.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Parag Kalkar, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, as the Chief Guest. In his address, Dr. Kalkar emphasised the importance of visionary leadership in higher education, highlighting its role in fostering academic quality, innovation, research-driven environments, and institutional excellence. He noted that such leadership strengthens the standards of higher education and provides a new direction to student-centric learning.

The certificate of honour carried endorsements from the Government of India, Skill India, National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), underscoring the national significance of this recognition. The award was further distinguished by the signatures of Sandeep Gulati, Founder & CEO of Plus 91 Media, and Ashutosh Dubey, Co-Founder of Plus 91 Media.

The achievement was warmly acknowledged by the Bharati Vidyapeeth fraternity. Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam, Secretary, Bharati Vidyapeeth; Dr. Shivajirao Kadam, Chancellor, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University); Hon. Vijaymalaji Kadam, Chairperson, Bharati Vidyapeeth School Education Committee; and Dr. Asmita Jagtap, Executive Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth Health Sciences, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for Dr. Jadhav’s future academic journey.

Faculty and staff members of the College of Engineering for Women also expressed pride in Dr. Jadhav’s visionary leadership and celebrated this collective triumph.

संतविचारांनी भारावले भारती विद्यापीठ्स कॉलेज ऑफ इंजिनिअरिंग फॉर विमेन, पुणे

आषाढी पंढरपूर वारीच्या पावन परंपरेचा एक भाग म्हणून दरवर्षी भारती विद्यापीठ्स कॉलेज ऑफ इंजिनिअरिंग फॉर विमेन, पुणे येथे हरिकीर्तनाचे आयोजन करण्यात येते. याच परंपरेनुसार यंदाही हरिभक्त पारायण श्री. माणिक महाराज मंगळूरकर यांच्या प्रेरणादायी कीर्तनाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. पंढरपूर वारीदरम्यान त्यांनी महाविद्यालयाला सदिच्छा भेट दिली. त्यांच्या आगमनाने संपूर्ण महाविद्यालय परिसर भक्तिमय वातावरणाने भारावून गेला.

महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. प्रदीप जाधव यांनी ह.भ.प. श्री. माणिक महाराज मंगळूरकर यांचा शाल, श्रीफळ व पुष्पगुच्छ देऊन विशेष सत्कार केला. यावेळी बोलताना ते म्हणाले, "अभियांत्रिकी शिक्षणाबरोबरच विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये संस्कार, मूल्ये आणि सामाजिक जाणीव रुजविणे ही शिक्षण संस्थांची तितकीच महत्त्वाची जबाबदारी आहे. संत परंपरेतील विचार युवकांना जीवनाची योग्य दिशा देतात आणि अशा उपक्रमांमधून विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये सकारात्मक जीवनमूल्ये रुजण्यास प्रेरणा मिळते."

आपल्या कीर्तनामध्ये ह.भ.प. श्री. माणिक महाराज मंगळूरकर यांनी संत परंपरेचे महत्त्व, नामस्मरणाची शक्ती, निःस्वार्थ सेवा, सदाचार, मानवता आणि अध्यात्म यांचे महत्त्व प्रभावी उदाहरणांसह उलगडून सांगितले. ज्ञान, संस्कार आणि भक्ती यांचा समन्वय साधत जीवन जगण्याचा संदेश त्यांनी दिला. त्यांच्या ओजस्वी, रसाळ आणि विचारप्रवर्तक निरूपणाने उपस्थित सर्व शिक्षक, शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी आणि श्रोते अक्षरशः मंत्रमुग्ध झाले.

या कार्यक्रमास उपप्राचार्य डॉ. अविनाश पवार, उपप्राचार्या डॉ. सुवर्णा चोरगे, सर्व विभागप्रमुख, प्राध्यापक व शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी मोठ्या उत्साहाने उपस्थित होते. कार्यक्रमाच्या यशस्वी आयोजनासाठी डॉ. सविता इटकरकर आणि प्रा. स्मिता गोड यांनी विशेष परिश्रम घेतले व मोलाचे योगदान दिले. त्यांच्या नियोजनामुळे संपूर्ण कार्यक्रम अत्यंत शिस्तबद्ध, भक्तिमय आणि उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरणात यशस्वीरित्या संपन्न झाला.

वन महोत्सवा'त हरित भविष्याचा संकल्प

पुणे : ७/७/२०२६
पर्यावरण संवर्धनाचा संदेश समाजापर्यंत पोहोचविण्याच्या उद्देशाने १ ते ७ जुलै दरम्यान साजऱ्या करण्यात येणाऱ्या 'वन महोत्सवा' निमित्त भारती विद्यापीठस् कॉलेज ऑफ इंजिनियरिंग फॉर वुमेन, पुणे येथे जनजागृती आणि वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम उत्साहात पार पडला.

या उपक्रमांतर्गत महाविद्यालय परिसरात २५ देशी प्रजातींच्या वृक्षांची लागवड करण्याचा संकल्प करण्यात आला. कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. प्रदीप जाधव यांच्या हस्ते प्रतीकात्मक वृक्षारोपणाने झाली. यावेळी उपस्थितांनी वृक्षलागवड, वृक्षसंवर्धन आणि पर्यावरण संरक्षणासाठी सातत्याने कार्य करण्याची सामूहिक प्रतिज्ञा केली.

या प्रसंगी उपप्राचार्या डॉ. सुवर्णा चोरगे, उपप्राचार्य डॉ. अविनाश पवार, सर्व विभागप्रमुख, प्राध्यापक, शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी तसेच विद्यार्थिनी मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होत्या. सर्वांच्या उत्स्फूर्त सहभागामुळे कार्यक्रमाला विशेष रंगत प्राप्त झाली.

कार्यक्रमाचे नियोजन राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना जिल्हा समन्वयक डॉ. सविता इटकरकर यांनी केले. महाविद्यालय परिसर अधिक हरित, स्वच्छ आणि पर्यावरणपूरक करण्याच्या दृष्टीने हा उपक्रम महत्त्वपूर्ण ठरला.
