The Centre for Modeling and Simulation, Savitribai Phule Pune University, was established in 2003 with a vision to promote awareness about mathematical modeling and simulation methodologies, to encourage highly multidisciplinary problem-centric approaches to basic and applied research that transcend traditional boundaries separating individual scientific disciplines, and to nurture (high-performance) computing expertise on the University campus.
