The Department of Computer Engineering had organized a visit to Ellicium Solutions Private Limited, Pune on 17th August 2023. After the initial welcome, the briefing about the company was presented by Mr. Ninaad and Ms. Kishori. Five alumni students i.e. Akash (Comp), Omkar (Comp), Vrushabh (Comp) , Astha (EnTC), Dhanajay (Mech), currently working at Ellicium Solutions Private Limited, interacted with students. After the presentation , the tour began. Students observed work culture and protocols followed by employees. The new concepts of data lake, lake house, generative AIs are understood by the students. They also got exposure on aptitude skills, domain specific skills and industry knowledge. Industrial Visit was coordinated by Dr. Sankirti Shiravale, Ms. Rupali Dalvi and Ms. Vandana Rupnar.
Thanks to Hon. management, Principal Dr. V. N. Gohokar Sir and Hod Dr. K.S. Thakre for their kind support and encouragement.

The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication of MMCOE organised an Induction Program For the academic year 2023-24 Semester-I on 10/07/2023. Student's welcome was done by class teacher and TGs by giving choclates and pens , welcome speech given by Dr. G. S. Gawande HOD E&TC. Department vision missions were discussed by Dr. A. B.Kanwade (Academic Coordinator). Presentation for Academic policies, marking schemes, attendance rules were delivered by Academic Coordinator Mr. Anup Dakre. Later on registration procedure on ERP were discussed and physical registration were conducted by respective class teachers. This activity well coordinated by Prof. Deepali Potdar and Prof. Madhvee.

Department of Computer Engineering, MMCOE, Pune & Cyber Secured India, Mumbai has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Center of Excellence (COE) in the area of Cyber Security & Digital Forensics.

The COE will foster collaboration in the research & development, launch joint certification programs, conduct regular training sessions & workshops, provide internship opportunities and real life projects to the students in the field of cyber security and ensure building a strong workforce for securing the digital ecosystem.

Cyber Secured India’s Founder Mr. Nikhil Mahadeshwar & MMCOE’s Principal Dr. V.N Gohokar, Dr. Kalpana Thakre, HoD Computer Engineering Department & Dr. Asheesh Dixit signed the MOU in presence of Dr. Smita Chaudhari, COE Coordinator and other team members from Cyber Secured India & MMCOE’s Department of Computer Engineering.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data science Engineering conducted a guest lecture on "Introduction to AI,ML and Data Science " on 11/11/2022 for SE(AI &DS) students.Resource person was Mr. Yogesh Murumkar Chief Executive Officer and Corporate Trainer at Bharat Soft Solutions. He delivered the many intricacies of various technologies and tools such as Deep Learning, Machine Learning, BlockChain and some dominant concepts, in particular, Gradient Descent, Data Structures, Data Management, Statistics, SQL and so forth which are crucial to acknowledge to step in the domain of Data Analytics

This Session was coordinated by Mrs Manisha R.Patil (Faculty AI &DS)
