ask is on to us, as the responsible citizen of this great nation in general and parents/guardians in particular; else we may leave the future generation to beat the scorching heat of unemployment and fragile national economy. In this context, the efforts put in by professional institutions like us, to encourage the students to bring out their entrepreneurial qualities with apt technical background, are noteworthy. The Entrepreneur Development cell (EDCell) of our college was conceived way back in 2003, and is steadily working to meet to the needs of the society since then. Under its patronage, different activities are undertaken aiming to develop entrepreunial skills among student fraternity viz. Faculty development programs, student awareness camp, workshops, and Guest lecturers of renowned industrial experts. Also various competitions are organized, following are to name a few- Business idea generation, Sports quiz, Big Money, Marketing strategies, Entrepreneur story competition etc. The salient features of the ED Cell activities, this academic year are as under -
• EDcell has organized the event VENTURES including two competitions named B-Planning and V-Sharez. Three certificates were conferred to the students.
• P.G.Shete, Co-ordinator conducted an awareness session for the students who were keenly interested in the self development from entrepreneurship prospective.
