We are delighted to share that Dr. Girish Desai, Executive Director of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, recently visited ๐€๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐š๐ฅ๐š, ๐“๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š and had the privilege of meeting ๐’๐ก๐ซ๐ข. ๐€๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก ๐ƒ๐ž๐›๐›๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐š, Director - Higher Education, Tripura, ๐’๐ก๐ซ๐ข. ๐Š๐ข๐ซ๐š๐ง ๐†๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ž, ๐ˆ๐€๐’, an accomplished senior bureaucrat serving the Government of Tripura, and ๐’๐ก๐ซ๐ข. ๐‘๐š๐ฆ๐š ๐๐š๐๐š ๐‰๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐š, Honโ€™ble 12th Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly. A significant meeting was held at the PCET Trust as part of the next phase of ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐›๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง between Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) and .university , UK.๐ŸŒ

A Memorandum of Understanding (๐Œ๐จ๐”) was signed between PCET and Aberystwyth University in 2025. The meeting was conducted to discuss the future expansion of this educational partnership.๐Ÿค

Ajinkya Kalbhor (Entrepreneur) & Dr. Girish Desai (Executive Director PCET), along with Prof. Nigel Holt, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor of the International Department at Aberystwyth University, Ms. Samantha Vallin, Regional Manager & Mr. Zafeer Alam, Recruitment Advisor, ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽ“

Also present were Dr. Yogesh V. Bhavsar, OSD- PCET, Dr. Aishwarya Gopalakrishnan, Head โ€“ European Studies, Dr. Nirupama Kocherlakota & Digital Marketing Department representative Ms. Shubhangi Ramteke.

The meeting included detailed discussions on future collaboration opportunities between the two institutions. Special emphasis was given to higher education, research, agriculture, arts, culture, student and faculty exchange programs, and strong academic partnerships.

Prof. Nigel Holt stated that collaborations between globally reputed educational institutions create new opportunities for students and faculty members while transforming higher education globally. ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽ“

The news of the demise of Ravi Pandit, Chairman of KPIT Technologies, who played a pivotal role in giving Puneโ€™s IT sector a distinct global identity, is deeply saddening. With his passing, the industry has lost a visionary leader whose contribution to the technology sector was truly remarkable.

Ravi Pandit made an immense contribution in transforming KPIT Technologies into a globally respected Indian technology company. His work in the fields of automotive software, electric mobility, and advanced technological innovation earned widespread recognition and admiration.
