The Third Year Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI&ML) students of AISSMS Polytechnic, Pune successfully completed an Industrial Visit to Sakal Printing Press, Pune.

The visit provided students with valuable exposure to modern printing technologies, automated production systems, digital publishing workflows, and large-scale newspaper printing operations. Students gained practical insights into the integration of technology, quality control processes, and efficient production management in the printing industry.

🌟 Engineers’ Day 2026 Celebration | Civil Engineering Department 🌟

On the occasion of the 59th Engineers’ Day, the Department of Civil Engineering, AISSMS Polytechnic, Pune, successfully organized an insightful Guest Lecture on “Engineering Excellence for a Sustainable and Technologically Sovereign India” under the IEI & ISTE Students’ Chapter.

🚀🇮🇳 Celebrating the 59th Engineers’ Day at AISSMS Polytechnic Pune 🇮🇳🚀

The Departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology successfully organized a Technical Seminar on “Engineering Excellence for a Sustainable and Technologically Sovereign India” under the IEI & ISTE Students’ Chapter.

The expert session was delivered by Mr. Suraj Kumar, Data Science & AI Trainer at Code Duo, an AI-focused technology startup and IT consulting firm. Through his insightful talk, students gained valuable knowledge about emerging technologies, innovation, sustainability, and the evolving role of engineers in building a self-reliant and technologically empowered nation.

The seminar encouraged students to think innovatively, embrace technological advancements, and understand their responsibilities toward sustainable development and nation-building. The interactive session also provided industry insights, career guidance, and exposure to current trends in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

🎨⚙️ Engineers’ Day Celebration – Poster Making Competition ⚙️🎨

On the occasion of the 59th Engineers’ Day, AISSMS Polytechnic Pune organized a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Sustainable Development” to inspire creativity and engineering awareness among students.

Participants showcased their innovative ideas through thought-provoking posters on themes such as Teacher – The Strongest Pillar, Green Building, Save Water Save Structure, and My Engineering Tools. The competition provided a platform for students to creatively express the role of engineering in building a sustainable future while recognizing teachers as the guiding force behind innovation and progress.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and highlighted the artistic, technical, and environmental consciousness of budding engineers.

The program was successfully coordinated by Mr. P. V. Kapure, Lecturer, Civil Engineering Department.

The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, AISSMS Polytechnic, Pune, under the IEI Students’ Chapter, celebrated Engineer’s Day on 15th September 2026 with an innovative Poster Presentation Activity.

The activity was organized on the theme “Engineering Excellence for a Sustainable and Technologically Sovereign India”, with the topic “Smart Villages: Engineering Technology for Rural Transformation.” Second Year and Third Year E&TC students enthusiastically participated and presented creative ideas highlighting the role of engineering and technology in smart rural infrastructure, sustainable development, connectivity and improved quality of life. 🌱🏡📡
