Just when we thought we are at the peak of our evolution chain, the feeling of chasing a mountain peak appears. We are getting closer to our goal for a sustainable future but not quite there yet. Putting the green incharge of change brought us this far, we understood that Climate Change is real and people agree that it impacts our business on a regular basis. Our supply chain is susceptible to ext

reme weather conditions, less productivity and depleting natural resources. We agree to re-energize India we need innovative solutions in Industrial Ecology, build a strong renewable infrastructure and strengthen our exploration for new resources. But is the Industry ready to take the Circular approach to implement change? Do we have strong reforms to support the renewable project financing? We get answers to all these questions and more when Industry meets academia yet again at ENECON 2017. At SIIB, we pose these questions to leaders in the field and build on best practices. Sustainable Development Goals and the INDC have brought a new wave of change. The question still remains are we ready to be swayed? This week’s club activity brought together both seniors and juniors for an engaging collaborative session! 🌿
The seniors explored the LEAP tool, diving into its simulations, manual-based exercises, and learning how the model supports sustainable scenario analysis. Meanwhile, the juniors experimented with the En-Roads Simulator, observing how changing parameters can influence climate projections and outcomes.

The session also included a discussion on the agenda for the upcoming month, brainstorming new ideas and activities to strengthen the club’s sustainability learning journey.
