Faculty Induction Programme 2026 inaugurated at St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur

The five-day Faculty Induction Programme 2026, organized by the Staff Development and Appraisal Cell of St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur, commenced on 15 June 2026.

The programme was inaugurated by the Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Dr. J. B. Saldanha, who emphasized the importance of understanding the institution’s vision, mission, values, and professional ethics.

Principal Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro encouraged the newly appointed faculty members to embrace continuous learning, understand higher education policies, and contribute positively to the institution’s growth.

Celebrating culture, tradition, and talent! ✨

St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur, in association with Yakshakala Kendra and Deshabhakta N.S. Kille Prathishtana, successfully conducted the ‘Yakshamrutha’ Yakshagana Performance Art Certificate Course (2025–26). A total of 30 students were awarded certificates after successfully completing 40 hours of training in Yakshagana dance, Arthagarike (interpretation), and stage performance.
