Department of Philosophy, Raiganj University in collaboration with Renaissance Universal, the intellectual wing of Ananda Marga Pracharak Sangha organized a one-day National Seminar on *“Indian Value System in Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji’s Multifarious Contributions and in Jain Philosophy For the Betterment of Humanity"* at PRD Hall, Raiganj University on 20 July 2026.
Prof Tripti Dhar, Head and Professor, Department of Philosophy, Raiganj University delivered introductory speech and highlighted multifarious contributions of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtijii.
Prof. (Dr.) Arnab Sen, Hon'ble Vice-chancellor, Raiganj University was the Chief Guest. He said; Philosophy is very special subject for me. Philosophy is very important for human progress. According to Shrii Shrii Anandamurtijii, there are four propensities in all beings but in human beings special quality is rationality and they can perform medition.
Prof. Bhaskar Jha, Dean, Arts, commerce and Law Dept., Raiganj University was the Guest of Honour and delivered welcome speech.
Acharya Divyachetanananda Avadhuta, Central RU Secretary was the Chief Speaker. He talked about Shrii Shrii Anandamurtijii's contributions namely; Spiritual Philosophy, Neohumanism and Socio Economic Theory called PROUT. First he explained how spiritual word came on this earth. According to Shrii Shrii Anandamurtijii, when aesthetic sense based on subtle aesthetic science comes to certain standard what it is called mysticism. When it reaches the pinnacle of human glory or excellence of human glory it is called spirituality. Mysticism is never ending endeavour to find out link between the finite and infinite.
He also talked about Evolution process. He said there are three process of Evolution;
1.Physical force emanated from physical clash,
2.Psychic force emanated from psychic clash and
3.Spiritual resultant from attraction of the great.
He further explained the essence of Neo- humanism. The underlying spirit of humanity is extended to everything animate and inanimate. Neohumanism elevates humanism to universalism means cult of love is created among entire being.
Acharyaji lastly explained Shrii PR Sarkar's Socio Economic theory PROUT. He said that in Shrii Sarkar's economic theory we find socio economic theory and guiding philosophy. Economic theory covers Socio economic development and Guiding philosophy talks about Universalism.
Padma Bhushan Acharya Vijay Ratnasundersurishwarji Maharaj delivered speech on Jainism philosophy helpful for the betterment of mankind.
Prof. Prasanta Kumar Mahala, Professor of Sanskrit & Director IQAC, Raiganj University was the Guest of Honour also spoke on Prabhat Samgiit and linguistic.
Prof Tripti Dhar, HoD, Department of Philosophy, Raiganj University was the Coordinator of Program.
