As the nation prepares to celebrate the 80th Independence Day, Raiganj University is proud to join the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with a series of activities celebrating patriotism, unity and the spirit of a proud India.
Programme Period: 9th August – 17th August 2026
Highlights of the Programme: Distribution of National Flags in Adivasi-based areas on the eve of Biswa Adivasi Diwas – 2026
Sit & Draw Competition on the theme of Har Ghar Tiranga & 80th Independence Day
Cycle Rally & Distribution of National Flags
Flag Hoisting by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor
Speech & Cultural Programme
Special activities involving NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers and the University community
The programmes will be organised by the NCC Company & NSS Units, Raiganj University, with the active participation of students and other dignitaries.
Let us come together to honour our Tiranga, celebrate the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, and strengthen the spirit of freedom, pride, unity and nationalism.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

Eligibility
• Open to all bona fide students of Raiganj University.

Rules & Guidelines
• Only photographs captured using a mobile phone will be accepted.
• Each participant may submit one photograph only.
• The photograph must be original and should not have been previously awarded or published in any competition.
• Basic editing (cropping, brightness, contrast, colour correction, etc.) is permitted. AI-generated or heavily manipulated images are not allowed.
• The submitted photograph should clearly reflect the competition theme, "Freedom Through Your Eyes."
• Inappropriate, plagiarised, or copyrighted content will lead to disqualification.
• The decision of the judging panel shall be final and binding.

We encourage all students to participate and showcase their creativity.

A Proud Day of Commitment and Responsibility! 🇮🇳✨

Today, in the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Minister of State for School Education and Fire & Emergency Services, Government of West Bengal, Shri Koushik Chowdhury, and the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Raiganj University, the Students' Welfare, NCC, NSS, and My Bharat teams of Raiganj University proudly participated in the Nasha Mukt Yuva – Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan 2047. The nationwide campaign was launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who joined the programme virtually and inspired students and institutions across the country.

As the Students' Welfare Body of Raiganj University, we are honoured and delighted to be part of this meaningful national initiative. With a shared vision of a Drug-Free Youth, Healthy Society, and Viksit Bharat 2047, we proudly reaffirm our commitment to creating a brighter, stronger, and more responsible India.

এতদ্বারা রায়গঞ্জ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সকল শিক্ষার্থীদের অবগত করা যাচ্ছে যে, "GenZ Against Addiction: Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Sankalp Abhiyan"-এর অংশ হিসেবে "বিকশিত ভারত ২০৪৭"-এর লক্ষ্যে ভারতের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী-এর ভার্চুয়াল ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন ও ভাষণের লাইভ স্ট্রিমিং-এর আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। রায়গঞ্জ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ও এই সর্বভারতীয় কর্মসূচিতে ভার্চুয়াল মাধ্যমে অংশগ্রহণ করবে।
