🎨 A Heartfelt Gesture on Teachers’ Day

During the Teachers’ Day celebration, Uday Narayan Sutradhar, a student of Department of English, Raiganj University, presented the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Arnab Sen, with a beautiful hand-drawn portrait created by him.

The Vice-Chancellor was deeply delighted by this thoughtful gesture and appreciated Uday’s artistic talent. He blessed him and conveyed his best wishes for a bright and successful future. 🌸🎨✨

Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026 | Raiganj University

Glimpses from the Teachers’ Day Celebration organised by the Students’ Welfare Body of Raiganj University at the Mukta Manch on 10 September 2026.

The programme was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Arnab Sen, followed by insightful addresses from Prof. Bhaskar Jha, Dean, Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Pinaki Chakraborty, Dean, Faculty of Science. Also present were Prof. (Dr.) Prasanta Kumar Mahala, Director, IQAC, and Dr. Manas Naskar, Development Officer, along with other esteemed professors, faculty members and university authorities.

A memorable celebration honouring the invaluable bond between teachers, students and the pursuit of knowledge. 🌸📚

On behalf of the Raiganj University Students’ Welfare Body, Raksha Bandhan celebration was organized today with the professors, teaching and non-teaching staff, security guards, and students from various departments of the University.
