✨ Listening, moving, and learning through sound 🎶👂
At Aashayein Development Center, children participated in an auditory sensory activity — “Move and Stop” — where they were encouraged to move their bodies while music played and pause immediately when the music stopped.
This fun movement-based activity helped children connect sound with body responses while improving their ability to listen, understand, and react. 🌈
Auditory activities like this support:
👂 Auditory attention and sound awareness
🧠 Listening skills and cognitive processing
⚖️ Balance, body coordination, and body control
🎯 Focus, impulse control, and response inhibition
🕺 Motor planning and movement regulation
🌱 Following instructions and developing self-control
For children with ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome, sensory-motor activities create meaningful opportunities to improve skills through play and active participation.
Because learning becomes more powerful when children can hear it, feel it, and experience it 💛✨
