is not a digger company anymore... They're literally powering AI.
Most people have no idea that Caterpillar owns Solar Turbines - one of the biggest gas turbine manufacturers on the planet, Over 17,000 turbines operating across 100 countries.
And right now every data centre being built needs power that the grid can't provide...

So what do they do? They go to
$CAT
Just look at the deals this year...

2GW of natural gas generators for the Monarch Compute Campus in West Virginia - One of the biggest AI data centre projects in America, Deliveries starting September this year.
2.1GW deal with ProPetro's power division - Five year agreement.
A 500MW prime power project with OnePWR launching this year.
A gigawatt-scale AI campus in Utah.

They're more than doubling their gas turbine manufacturing capacity...
More than doubling their large engine capacity...
Their engine manufacturing capacity for data centres is up 125% since 2023...

Actual words on their website? "Speed to power. We can deliver complete generation packages faster than most any other technology."
$51 billion backlog For god sake!!!

Power and energy is their fastest growing segment. Sales up 37% last quarter.
This is the AI trade nobody talks about. Not chips. Not software. The gas turbines keeping the lights on underneath it all.

With this, Vietnam further leapfrogs its Southeast Asian neighbors is securing energy independence to power its growing manufacturing sector and booming economy.

As an engineer working in the energy sector here is how I would solve our energy crisis:

Cancel net zero, what Australia does in this space is pointless.

Given our isolation have one year's storage of petroleum products.

Build an energy sector that utilises all of our bountiful resources, such as gas, coal, nuclear and some renewables (rooftop solar, geothermal, hydro)

Prioritise energy security and cost to consumer.

Build refinery capacity to meet our local needs. The refineries should be flexible to support different oil crudes.

For energy exports follow the Qatar model, local use first then export to drive down costs.

Drill baby drill and consider technology such as Gas to Liquids and biodiesel to shore up our oil reserves.

Produce all of our own fertiliser and adblue locally. The gulf crisis has shown the folly of our current approach.

Whatever the question is Hydrogen is not the answer.

Cuba's Solar Revolution

Within a year, Cubas solar power has been rising from under 6 percent to around 20 percent. In February, Havana reported over 900 megawatts of solar power at midday peak for the first time.

Trump's oil embargo has made Cuba the country with the fastest-growing solar energy sector worldwide.

Fossil fuel dependence is a geopolitical weakness and risk. Solar energy is the answer. Cuba shows how quickly this can happen when the pressure is high enough.

Schrödinger’s plates: intact and broken until the door is opened - classical system, quantum anxiety. ✍️
The observer can see the plates (thus their quantum state is quantified by observation). What you are seeing here is plates in a stable momentum state. Opening the door changes the momentum state not the quantum state.
I'm pretty sure you collapsed the wave function when you took the picture... now it's just regular anxiety. 📸
Quantum uncertainty isn’t just physics, it’s psychology.
Waiting for clarity guarantees stress; engagement guarantees knowledge.
Open the door. Face the plate. See the result. Learn.
Paint the glass black without observing. Plainly they are bowls not plates.
In this case you can see that the plates are unbroken. Therefore no superposition exists. They will be broken when the door is opened unless special precautions are taken, but their current state is known.
But how it is justifying an intact state?, because opening the door will surely break the plates, which is the deterministic state not a probabilistic state.
Seeing the plates is QUANTUM PROCESS(photons-particles of light have no mass so no Force involved)..Opening the door is CLASSICAL PROCESS(Force involved)!ABSURD PROPOSITION!
Just take advantage of tunneling effect to extract it's wave function to the other side before collapsing supperposition by measurement.
I'd call it more of a false vacuum parallel, it seems stable from the outside but it's just waiting to collapse into a new state that's more resistant to change

Two plants that humans have known for centuries are now attracting new attention from modern industry.
Bamboo is famous for its remarkable growth speed, with some species capable of reaching up to 91 centimeters of growth in a single day. Its strength, flexibility, and rapid renewability have led engineers and architects to experiment with bamboo-based materials in construction, furniture, and infrastructure projects.
H**p is similarly efficient as an agricultural crop. Compared with cotton, h**p can produce significantly more fiber while requiring less water and fewer chemical inputs. This makes it appealing for industries searching for more sustainable raw materials.
Today, h**p is being developed into a wide variety of products, including textiles, paper, biodegradable plastics, insulation materials, biofuels, and even emerging technologies such as battery components.
Both plants illustrate how natural resources can provide alternatives to some traditional industrial materials. Their rapid growth cycles and versatility make them attractive options for sectors exploring lower-impact production methods.
They will not single-handedly replace entire industries.
But they show how ancient crops are being reconsidered as part of modern sustainability strategies.

India is smashing it: 42.5GW of new solar in 2026 ALONE. Think about that scale - it’s more than the entire installed capacity of most developed nations

At this exponential rate, solar capacity is on track to CRUSH coal in India by 2028
