Our Main Aim and Goal: is to Achieve high cadre jobs like IAS/IPS/Groups on completion of 4 years Integrated Degree B.A & B.Com (Computers) course. Our Vision-2025 : Kalam IAS Institute is the only institution in the country with a declared vision and commitment that by 2025, we are aimed to achieve 5000 high government positions at All India and State level high government positions like IAS/IPS and Group-1 services. As part of our functional strategy and to building up our resource base from degree itself, Kalam IAS Institute, Rajahmundry is launching 4 years Civil Services integrated B.A and B. Com (Computers) Degree courses with English Medium and Co-education from 2015-16 academic year. Please check How Kalam is different from Other colleges:
1. The syllabus of Civil Services and AP PSC & TS PSC Examinations are integrated with B.A. Course(History, Economy and Political Science) and B.Com (Computers) with Economy, Commerce, and Accountancy.
2. In order to empower and enable the students to achieve IAS/IPS in the first attempt itself and in any situation, we thoroughly train them up in NCERT (CBSE) and recommended text books for civil Services and PSC examinations in a systematic way but not allow them mug up readymade material like many institutions do.
3. We also train the students in Group-2, SSC, RRB, Bank Pos, SI, so as to ensure a student leave College with minimum of one good job at the end of the course.
4. Our teaching pattern involves teaching lessons using high technology and effective teaching and learning inputs like video and audio clippings with detailed explanations by our original talented faculty who have personal experience in civil services and groups exam and under the guidance of Group-1 officers. We also employ many memory techniques like mind mapping enabling student understand/learn and digest easily
5. We conduct regular weekend descriptive civils practice tests with a focus on improving students writing, language, and presentation skills which are crucial for achieving success apart from Degree quarterly and half yearly and final year exams.
6. Morning study starts with Yoga class, news paper reading and evening study hours after regular college hours.
7. We also introducing the concept of voluntary captive study in the Hostel integrated with Digital Library containing all information/materials and practice tests relating to civil Services and groups exams and enable free, competitive, and learning environment in the hostel. Girl students will be provided with separate hostel
8. Our disciplined study pattern involves improving overall personality development of a student to suit and pursue a high caliber and successful civil servant career by arranging regular interaction classes with prominent experts, eminent personalities and experienced IAS,IPS,Group-1 officers.
9. We Conduct regular group discussions, debates and encourage students to participate in national and state level quiz competitions.
10. Composite Study : Intermix degree students with senior and appearing civil servant aspirants in all the three years enabling real time experience to achieve civils in first attempt itself.
11. Students have to wear a uniform with thick blue trouser and cream color shirt and a tie.
12. Special Performance Evaluation system: Apart from personal guidance, We have designed and developed a electronically operated performance evaluation system which ensure students self evaluation to improve where he is lagging and build up confidence where he is strong and also conduct quarterly parents meeting to discuss the students progress and problems.
13. Personal Guidance by Our Mentors who Adopted our Vision-2025: All of them have personal experience in civil services and group-1 examinations and great teaching experience, They are
a) Sri B. VEERAJU, Commandant 42nd CRPF battalion (senior SP cadre),
b) Sri G.S Ramgopal, senior Group-1 Officer and present Master Trainer at Extension Training Centre, Samalkot and
c) Sri M. Venkateswarlu ,DCTO, Mangalagiri personally guide the students and join interaction classes.
14. Our special feature is that these officers have 15 years of real time experiences in handling various administrative problems successfully and which help civils aspirants in making critical analysis of unconventional questions being asked in new pattern of examination with a focus on governance and administrative ethics. They have mastery over multi-disciplines that are required for civils and therefore have overall leadership in providing personal guidance to all Mains papers and this is not the case with any other institutions which engage only subject teachers

Since we are allowing limited seats, we also conduct a screening test of G.K in the month of May to those who registered with a fee of Rs. 1000/- towards screening test and seeking admission in the College.
