Annamacharya University Rajampet Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences Rajampet was established in 1998 near Thallapaka. The college was reaccredited by NBA in 2009 and 2021.

Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Rajampet) is the first college founded under the patronage of Annamacharya Educational Trust in 1998 with a noble vision commissioned to raise technocrats and managers of high academic standards and character nestled with a desire to serve the humanity. As a testimony to its excellent infrastructural facilities and innovative teaching practices, A

ITS was accredited by National Board of Accreditation in 2005 for the first time. The college received NAAC Accreditation in 2010 and reaccreditation in 2018 with A grade. The college was granted Autonomous status by UGC in 2011 and renewal of autonomy was granted in the year 2022 for a period of 10 years. In addition to this, the institute also enjoys accreditation by Institution of Engineers (India) since 2012.
