Jamia Zia-Ul -Islam Manjakote Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Wudu Area and Sanitation Facility
UMER MALIK, RAJOURI
Jamia Zia-ul-islam Manjakote today marked a significant milestone in improving student welfare with the official inauguration of its newly constructed Wudu Khana (Ablution Block) and modern sanitation block.
The project, designed to cater to the growing needs of the student and local community, features a spacious Wudu area capable of accommodating 25 people simultaneously, ensuring ease and comfort during prayer times. In addition to the ablution facility, the new block includes 20 modern toilets and 10 fully-equipped bathrooms, built with a focus on hygiene, privacy, and sustainability.
The opening ceremony was attended by the school administration, faculty members, and notable community leaders. The ribbon-cutting was performed by Administrator Waqf Islamia Rajouri Abdul Qayoom Mir Rtd (KAS) and Nisar Hussain Khan Rtd (XEN) who praised the project as a vital step toward promoting health and religious values within the campus.
"Providing a clean and dignified space for our students to perform their religious obligations and maintain personal hygiene is our top priority," said Maulana Hafiz Mohd Alyas Sultani. "This facility is not just about bricks and mortar; it’s about ensuring our students have the best environment to focus on their growth and well-being."
Maulana Hafiz Mohd Alyas stated that We were honoured to host the distinguished presence of Abdul Qayoom Mir administrator Waqf Islamia Rajouri and Nisar Hussain Khan Rtd ExEn. Both guests made a detailed visit to the jamia and learned about the construction and educational activities. They expressed their happiness after seeing the educational and construction works and assured full support.
