📜 New MoU Update | 🇮🇳🤝🇲🇽

Nalanda University and Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero (UAGro), Mexico, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic cooperation between India and Mexico. UAGro Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero

The online signing ceremony was held in the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Professor Sachin Chaturvedi, Ms. Deepti Ganji, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India in Mexico, and Dra. Leticia Jiménez Zamora, Rector, UAGro, along with faculty members and other distinguished participants.

On the occasion, Professor Chaturvedi highlighted the significance of the MoU in advancing India–Mexico relations through education, research, knowledge exchange and closer people-to-people connections.

The MoU will support student and faculty mobility, joint research, seminars and conferences, and the exchange of academic information and publications, opening new avenues for collaboration between the two institutions.

A significant step forward in India–Mexico academic cooperation.

Nalanda University is pleased to join hands with Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero (UAGro), Mexico, to advance student and faculty mobility, joint research, academic exchanges and scholarly engagement.

We thank Ms. Deepti Ganji, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India in Mexico, and Dra. Leticia Jiménez Zamora, Rector, UAGro, for their presence and support. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Professor Sachin Chaturvedi represented Nalanda University at the signing ceremony.

La Embajada de la India celebra la firma de un Memorando de Entendimiento entre Nalanda University, India, y la Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero (UAGro), México, fortaleciendo la cooperación entre India y México en educación superior e intercambio académico.

La ceremonia reunió a representantes de la Embajada de la India, encabezados por la Jefa Adjunta de Misión, Sra. Deepti Ganji; de Nalanda University, representada por el Dr. Sachin Chaturvedi, Vicerrector; y de la Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero, representada por la Dra. Leticia Jiménez Zamora, Rectora, junto con miembros del profesorado y otros distinguidos participantes.

El MoU promoverá la movilidad de estudiantes y profesores, la investigación conjunta, seminarios y conferencias, así como el intercambio de información y publicaciones académicas.

A delegation of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Chennai, visited Nalanda University campus today. The delegation was welcomed by Shri O. P. Srivastava, Registrar (I/C), who highlighted the University’s key initiatives and progress in academics, infrastructure and sustainability.

A presentation on Nalanda’s academic and other institutional initiatives was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session with visiting journalists from Tamil Nadu. The delegation also undertook a campus tour, including an overview of the University’s Net-Zero initiatives and sustainability practices.

नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय में ‘विकसित भारत के निर्माण में भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा की भूमिका’ विषय पर आयोजित दो-दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय परिसंवाद का सम्पूर्ति सत्र आज सम्पन्न हुआ।

सम्पूर्ति सत्र में नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर सचिन चतुर्वेदी जी ने अपने स्वागताध्यक्षीय उद्बोधन में भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा की व्यापकता और सार्वभौमिक स्वरूप को रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय सभ्यता के विस्तार के पीछे ऐसा ज्ञान था, जो जनसामान्य के लिए उपयोगी, सहज और व्यापक रूप से उपलब्ध था। उन्होंने इस बात पर भी बल दिया कि वर्तमान संदर्भ में ‘भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा’ शब्द का प्रयोग करते हुए ऐसी दृष्टि विकसित करने की आवश्यकता है, जो इसे केवल भारतीय संदर्भ तक सीमित न रखकर एक व्यापक विश्व परंपरा और शाश्वत सत्य के रूप में देखे।

समापन सत्र में शिक्षा संस्कृति उत्थान न्यास के राष्ट्रीय सचिव डॉ. अतुल कोठारी ने पाथेय उद्बोधन दिया, जबकि भाषा, साहित्य एवं मानवीकी संकाय के संकायाध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर डी. वेंकट राव ने आभार ज्ञापन किया।

📚 राष्ट्रीय परिसंवाद | नालन्दा विश्वविद्यालय

नालन्दा विश्वविद्यालय के विश्वमित्रालय ऑडिटोरियम में आज बिहार के माननीय राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल (सेवानिवृत्त) सैय्यद अता हसनैन ने ‘विकसित भारत के निर्माण में भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा की भूमिका’ विषयक दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय परिसंवाद का उद्घाटन किया।

उद्घाटन सत्र में आज,

🔹 राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल (सेवानिवृत्त) सैय्यद अता हसनैन ने कहा कि विकसित भारत केवल आर्थिक समृद्धि और शक्ति से नहीं, बल्कि ज्ञान के सृजन, नए विचारों और मानवता के लिए समाधान प्रस्तुत करने की क्षमता से भी परिभाषित होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत को फिर ऐसा राष्ट्र बनना चाहिए, जहाँ दुनिया विचारों के लिए आए।

🔹 कुलपति प्रोफेसर सचिन चतुर्वेदी ने भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा को अलग खांचे में रखने के बजाय विभिन्न ज्ञान-विधाओं के साथ जोड़ने और प्रमाण-आधारित अध्ययन के माध्यम से आगे बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया।

🔹 डॉ. अतुल कोठारी ने भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा की समकालीन प्रासंगिकता को रेखांकित करते हुए कहा कि यह आज की वैश्विक चुनौतियों के समाधान और विकसित भारत के निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे सकती है।

🔹 प्रोफेसर भूषण पटवर्धन ने भारतीय ज्ञान को संवाद और निरंतरता के साथ समझने तथा प्राचीन ज्ञान को नवाचार के स्रोत के रूप में देखने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।

🔹 प्रोफेसर रमेश भारद्वाज ने भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा को शिक्षा में पुनर्स्थापित करने तथा उसके प्रामाणिक पाठ्य और पुरातात्विक साक्ष्यों को सामने लाने की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डाला।

Students and faculty of the School of International Politics, Studies & Peace (SIPS), Nalanda University participated in the Pāṭaliputra Prajñā Pravāh academic dialogue on “India’s Eastern Flank: Myanmar and Bangladesh”, held at Bihar Lok Bhavan, Patna, yesterday.

The session, graced by Hon’ble Governor of Bihar, Lt Gen (Retd.) Syed Ata Hasnain Ji, featured insightful perspectives from Lt Gen PC Nair, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, PhD (Retd.), Former Director General, Assam Rifles, and Maj Gen JS Nanda, SM (Retd.), Former Defence Advisor, High Commission of India, Dhaka.

The interaction offered Nalanda University’s students and faculty an enriching opportunity to engage with contemporary perspectives on India’s neighbourhood, strategic environment and eastern connectivity.
