The Department of Dravyaguna, Indian Institute of Ayurved Research & Hospital (IIARH), Rajkot, successfully organized an educational visit to ITRA, Jamnagar to provide students with hands-on exposure to medicinal plants and authentic Ayurvedic drug specimens.

The visit offered an enriching learning experience by bridging classroom concepts with practical field-based knowledge, helping students develop a deeper understanding of Dravyagunavigyan and the identification, properties, and therapeutic significance of medicinal plants.

The educational tour was guided by Dr. Vishwatej Parkhi and accompanied by Dr. Ravi Thesia and Dr. Ashmita Nakum, whose valuable guidance and mentorship made the visit both insightful and memorable.

🩺🌍 World Hypertension Day Awareness Program | 17 May 2026 🌍🩺

On the occasion of World Hypertension Day, the Indian Institute of Ayurved Research and Hospital (IIARH), Rajkot organized a Poster Presentation and Free Blood Pressure (BP) Measurement Camp to raise awareness about hypertension and promote healthy living.

The poster presentation highlighted the causes, risk factors, symptoms, complications, prevention, and management of hypertension. Students and healthcare professionals educated the public on the importance of regular BP monitoring, a balanced diet, physical activity, stress management, and avoiding to***co and excessive salt intake.
