The BBA Digital Transformation & Strategy Department, Chitkara Business School organized an IIC Talk on “Future of Work: Human Skills in the Age of AI” on 21st August 2026, featuring Ms. Namrata Gill, HR Leader at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. The session highlighted how Artificial Intelligence is transforming workplaces, careers, and organizational practices while emphasizing the continued importance of human capabilities and digital competencies. Students explored key skills such as creativity, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, communication, adaptability, collaboration, leadership, digital literacy, data literacy, AI literacy, digital communication, and technology-enabled problem-solving.

On 27th July 2026, students of CSE and AI 3rd Semester, Chitkara University, visited Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, to attend an inspiring lecture by Professor Jainendra K. Jain, a Wolf Prize Laureate. The event was organized in collaboration with Department of Applied science Chitkara University and The Society for Promotion of Science & Technology in India (SPSTI). The students were accompanied by Prof. (Dr.) D.P. Gupta, Dr. Vishal Dhiman, and Dr. Neeru from the Department of Applied Sciences as faculty coordinators.
The session provided students with valuable exposure to advanced concepts in quantum physics, with a special focus on quantum mechanics, the fractional quantum Hall effect, and strongly correlated electron systems. Students had the opportunity to learn from one of the world's leading physicists and gained insights into cutting-edge scientific research.
