The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, renowned Punjabi singer Kulwinder Billa, and Shri Vikas Sharma, Halka Incharge, BJP.

The Teej Festival was celebrated with great joy, enthusiasm, and traditional fervour at Swift Institute of Nursing, Rajpura. The celebration brought together the nursing students in a vibrant and festive atmosphere, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and traditions associated with Teej.

All the nursing students participated wholeheartedly in the celebrations and showcased tremendous enthusiasm throughout the event. The Mehndi Competition added an extra flavour of creativity and elegance to the festivities, with students beautifully adorning their hands with intricate mehndi designs.

The event also featured energetic and captivating dance performances by the students, which added colour and excitement to the celebration. The programme reached its cultural high point with a lively Giddha performance, filling the atmosphere with joy, laughter, and Punjabi spirit.

To appreciate and encourage the talent of the students, prizes were awarded to the winners of the Mehndi Competition and other activities. The celebration concluded on a delightful note with refreshments being served to all the participating students.

Overall, the Teej celebration was a memorable and joyous occasion that provided students with an opportunity to celebrate their culture, express their creativity, and strengthen the spirit of togetherness beyond the classroom.

*Initiation of Value-Added Course on Digital Tools for Pharmaceutical Sciences*

Swift School of Pharmacy has proudly initiated a value-added course titled “Digital Tools for Pharmaceutical Sciences: A Hands-on Training Programme on ChemDraw and Microsoft PowerPoint”, scheduled from 10 August 2026 to 16 October 2026.

The programme is designed to equip students with essential digital skills for pharmaceutical education, research, scientific documentation, molecular structure drawing, and effective academic presentations. Through hands-on sessions, participants will gain practical proficiency in ChemDraw for chemical structure representation and Microsoft PowerPoint for designing professional scientific presentations.

The initiative reflects Swift School of Pharmacy’s commitment to innovative, skill-based and technology-enabled learning, preparing students to meet the evolving requirements of pharmaceutical research, academia and industry.
