In continuation of this series, on October 30, 2023, Institution’s Innovation Council, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra will organize a seminar on "Innovation and Next Practises in Agritech." Department Mission
1. To develop state of the art education and research at undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral levels in different areas of pharmaceutical sciences and technology.
2. To provide excellent infrastructural facilities to strengthen research and development activities.
3. To extend proper academic guidance and career counselling to students in order to bridge the gap between academia and industry as per needs of the society.
4. To develop effective pedagogical and research potential among the faculties.
5. To create pharmaceutical knowledge pool with innovative, ethical and leadership qualities to serve the cause of the society
6. To promote collaboration with academia, industries and research organizations at national and international levels in the areas of mutual interests.

PEO No. Program Educational Objectives Statements

PEO1 Students will be able to use their fundamental concepts and technical competence in Pharmaceutical Industry and /or institutes as and when required to achieve professional excellence.

PEO2 Students will acquire strong and well-defined concepts in different subjects of Pharmaceutical Sciences viz; Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Pharmacognosy as per requirements of Pharmaceutical Industries, Community and Hospital Pharmacy. They will be able to work in a team while being competent enough in solving complex problems in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

PEO3 Students will be able to disseminate quality education with highly professional and ethical attitude, strong communication skills, and effective professional skills to work in a team with multidisciplinary approval.

PEO4 Students will be able to use interpersonal and collaborative skills to identify, assess and formulate problems and execute the solution in closely related Pharmaceutical Industries.

PEO5 Students will be able to contribute towards health care system and counseling for prophylaxis and prevention of diseases.

PEO6 Students will be able to participate in lifelong learning process for a highly productive career and will be able to relate the concepts of Pharmaceutical Sciences towards serving the cause of the society.
