This year on 15th July, as Skill India Mission celebrates its second anniversary, it endorses the resolution passed by the United Nations, to generate greater awareness and stimulate discussion on the vital role of skill training, in giving youth access to employment and sustainable livelihood pathways.
NSDC would invite all its training partners, affiliates and stakeholders to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of the Skill India Mission on a large scale to underscore the significance of skilling, vocational education and entrepreneurship amongst the youth of the country.
Here are a few events and activities that the Partners are advised to organise from July 14th – 16th:
Morning Walkabouts/ Rally/ Marathons near the training centres to encourage mobilisation of youth
Press Ads (print / TV/ radio/ digital) to be released in local newspapers and websites
Regional TV – local television channels may be invited to cover the event; or tickers may be released
Hoardings (creative attached) to be put up in the city to attract new candidates
Social Media – videos / photographs of the activities to be posted on respective social media platforms tagging
